Christmas is approaching and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our followers, customers and partners for your support and cooperation during 2024.   It has been an exciting year for Seasight Solutions with record sales of our APS (Autonomous Positioning System), a new framework agreement with the Danish defense and a membership of DI Forsvar og Sikkerhed/DI Danish Defence and Security Industries. The growth means that we have seen a need to expand our team and strengthen the organization to handle more tasks and deliver even higher quality. 11 days from request to design start - product launch 3 months later! 📆 August 3rd We received an inquiry from a long-time customer: "I am writing to inquire if Seasight Solutions has a ladder hanger design for use on a TP external ladder with diamond shaped rungs (picture attached) We can provide the ladder dimensions if required".   📆 August 7th Our team replied, explaining that our current Ladder Hanger Classic for Avani and Stilo ladders is not compatible with diamond shaped rungs, but expressed our willingness to develop a new design: "We can of course make this design in a new project. Could you give me a forecast of how many you'd need per year? Then I'd see if we could make this part of our product portfolio.”   📆 August 11th The client requested a quote for the design project and mentioned the need to investigate interest across their Offshore Wind Farms. They indicated that if the concept worked, it could gain significant attention from their key Lifting Engineers.   📆 August 14th We confirmed our decision to proceed with making the Ladder Hanger compatible with TP external ladders with diamond rungs: "Can you please send me some ladder dimensions or even better a drawing? Then I will start the design in our design department. I look forward to hearing from you and when we have looked into this some more, I will return with an estimate for when we will have this in stock. Have a great day 😊"   👉 Outcome  In just 11 days, we moved from inquiry to the start of the design project. Our efficient processes and dedicated team enabled us to launch the new product within three months. It's a mammoth project: thousands of wind turbines still need to be built by 2030 for Germany's energy transition. This documentary follows the work at the 15-turbine Süstedt wind farm south of Bremen. Congratulations to SILVASTI who have successfully installed the first wind turbine using our Autonomous Positioning System (APS) at the Pahkakoski wind farm in Finland. "Having the APS system for this project has been beneficial by entailing less time standing still due to wind conditions and working more safely with lifting of the blades," says Azade Pierroff, Commercial Director at Silvasti. The Pahkakoski wind farm is Silvasti's first Transport, Cranes, and Installation (TCI) project, which involves the construction of 30 wind turbine generators (WTGs) in beautiful Northern Finland. A big thank you to Azade Pierroff and her team for a fantastic collaboration from initial contact through to production, delivery, training and handover of the Autonomous Positioning System. "We are happy to have left the APS in good hands and look forward to following Silvasti's journey in the wind turbine installation market, where it will help make installations safer and more efficient," says Anders Karlsson, Head of Sales at Seasight Solutions.
