If you have attended AFM or any other major film festival or market and you struggle with mental health or being in big crowds. I see you! I hear you! You did great! Having any kind of mental health issue or just being an introvert and attending these major events to connect, network, and sell your film is major for your mind and body. I consider myself an extrovert with tints of introvert, and I am so tired after these last 4 intensive weeks. I want to stay home and do nothing until 2025. Now, I imagine people who don’t enjoy being with others, let alone networking and pitching their projects every five minutes. It’s exhausting! I’m just here to say I hear you and applaud you for stretching yourself to get your film done and sold. It doesn’t matter what others say or think. You are doing great! If you want to avoid these big social events and attract the right people to your world online, I have the answer! Join me in my next FREE webinar, Cash In On Your Creativity: Make Your Brand Work for You. I will walk you through building a powerful online brand for your film career where human contact is minimal. Say ME in the comments to send you the link.

Many filmmakers and film production owners think that doing business the old-fashioned way is what works in this industry without considering their online presence. Well, I have to tell you that having an online community pays off because they connect with you and find paid opportunities and collaborations. And here is proof of that: I met 3 amazing women at AFM who receive my newsletter every Friday, and we hit it off amazingly. Plus, all the people who contacted me through social media about meeting at AFM, you rock! A big shout-out to Jessica Mathis AKA Divinity Rose the Tiny Viking who makes you laugh and think about the importance of women in films. A super talented filmmakers, comedian, and producer. Another shout-out to Kirstin Barwise Heunes (I can see now your 2 last names 😆), a filmmaker from South Africa looking to get her films to other parts of the world and inviting productions to take advantage of shooting in South Africa; they do servicing, tax rebates, and understand the creative process. The most special of all was meeting Giovannie Espiritu (that I changed her last name in my newsletter, but her response was even better; she said it makes sense I am Espiritu Santo 😂). She has been in my newsletter for a while, has taken webinars, and has done consultancy with me. She is part of my membership in the Filmpreneurship Network. She is a film director and producer, phenomenal, sensitive, and a social media genius with 27k followers on Instagram. I will tell you all about it in another post. Now imagine yourself going places, meeting cool people who get you, and sharing your values. If you start working on your online brand, presence, and community, this is you. Do you want opportunities to come your way? You can totally do that. Join me next week for my next FREE webinar, Cash In On Your Creativity: Make Your Brand Work for You. I will walk you through building a brand for yourself or your business to connect with your audience and make money. This webinar will kick off the Black Friday Bundle I have prepared for you this season. ✅ Do you want to get ahead of the game and earn real money with your films? ✅ Do you want to find your audience and attract them to watch your film? ✅ Do you want to find the funds for your film? I’ll tell you all about it inside Filmpreneurship Network, my paid community, where you can access my film courses. Plus, with this Black Friday Bundle, you can access all my digital courses, including The Prosperity Creator’s Hule, where I teach you how to build a profitable business from scratch. This course is just worth 1.5k, and it is totally free when you subscribe to Filmpreneurship Network until December 9th.

Last week was packed with juicy tech events as part of my mentorship program at Tech Nordic Advocates. For those who don’t know, I am part of a tech accelerator in Denmark, along with 20 other amazing women. Each one of us is developing a tech business idea. Mine is an AI tool to help filmmakers and film production companies with marketing and distribution. On Tuesday, less than 24 hours I arrived in Denmark from the US after AFM attended #IamRemarkable. This workshop helps female professionals stand out and teaches us how to promote ourselves in the workforce. Thursday, we attended From Ideas to Services - Designing Digital Services and I walked away super clear of my future clients' user roadmap when purchasing and using my AI tool. On Friday, we ended the week with a special event celebrating Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, where 10 female founders pitched their tech companies in search of investments and funds. Super inspiring! I could see myself pitching my AI tool very soon. A huge thanks to Jeanette Carlsson, Maria Fagranes Clemmensen, and Eline Aaris Edslev ✨ for their hard work and the daily support we receive in this program. For the program partners who have been supportive all along, I need to get my office hours with you. And the fantastic women I share this space with, each one of them inspirational, intelligent, and capable of getting their ideas off the ground. Here I am with some of them!

3 ways of working together. Several people have approached me lately, asking me to run their marketing, but I don’t run marketing campaigns. My time is limited, and my purpose is big. I decided not to run marketing campaigns because I want to be part of a bigger purpose: helping filmmakers handle business for their films and themselves so they can own their film destiny. My heart is where I can make an impact and pass on my experience and knowledge. My producing and teaching give you the knowledge to sell, market, and distribute not only one film but many projects to come. I want to share with you the 3 ways we can work together, no more. 🎬 Lights, Camera, and Market. This is a year-long contract with the possibility of extending to 2 or 3 years. I provide a service where I produce your film and am in charge of funding and packaging it to sell it. Not everything in a film is creativity, but there is a lot of business you need to take care of. I am here for it! There is only 1 spot left; you can apply to it, but I choose the projects I work with. 🎬 Filmpreneurship Network 1on1. This is a consultancy service with a six-month commitment. I respond to your questions and help you create plans and strategies for your film in the areas of marketing, selling, and distribution. Your crew is invited to the meetings, and you have access to Filmpreneurship Network basic, which means access to training, Q&A, masterclasses, and events—only 1 spot left. 🎬 Filmpreneurship Network - Basic. This is a six-month commitment membership program; you can stay or sign off afterward. Members can access training, templates, masterclasses, Q&A, a WhatsApp group, events, and more. An advantage of joining now is that you will pay the same price even when the price increases next year. I know 1.5k USD is better invested in building an organic marketing and business strategy that you can repeat again and again instead of spending the money on Ads that you don’t know if will work. Marketing is not guessing your target audience and creating Ads hoping they will reach that audience. Marketing and business are a series of actions you repeat every week. The best part is you can learn these skills. I am here for it! If you want to see how I work and how I deliver my knowledge, join me in my next FREE webinar, Cash In On Your Creativity: Make Your Brand Work for You. I will walk you through building a brand for yourself or your business and how to make money with it. Comment below ME, and I will send you the link to join.

What is the difference between branding, marketing, and selling? When starting your journey in marketing and promotion, you may be confused by all these terms at first, but it’s essential to know how to differentiate them because one is not the same as the other. Don’t worry, I am here to explain. 🎥 Branding. It’s other people's perception of you without you being in the room. How do they remember you and talk about you? What do they think about you, and how easily can they remember you and bring you to the conversation? Whether you like it or not, you already have a brand. The good news is that you can always change that perception. 🎥 Marketing is the way you attract the people you want to work with to your world; it is how you catch their attention and bring them to your email list, social media, group, or any other way you promote your brand. It is about finding new ways and consistently showing up so people get to know you. 🎥 Selling. This is when your potential client is ready to buy, either watch your film or hire you for a paid gig. They are ready to put money on the table. You can close a deal through a meeting, over a coffee, email, or DM’s. There are no rules on how to make money at this point. Each stage is different, but they are also intertwined and work together; depending on how well you do in any of these, your hot leads will be more prepared to pay for what you do. On November 28th, I will run a FREE webinar to teach you how to create a professional, badass brand that works for you and gives all the information to potential clients without making thousands of calls to sell your soul. Cash In On Your Creativity: Make Your Brand Work for You. On November 28th at 3pm (CET) Comment below ME to send you the link.

Someone recently asked me how I could have such a structured business. I said well it has taken me only 8 years to get where I am now and 1 year to see fabulous results. I know everyone wants fast results and an overnight success story, but you don’t know what you don’t know, and branding and marketing are like a foreign country that you need to adapt and learn. But I don’t want you to spend the same amount of time figuring out how to create a brand that sells easily and professionally. This is why I am sharing 3 tips today for you to start a profitable brand for your film career. ✅ Work on your pricing; if someone comes today and asks you about your pricing, do you know how much to charge? ✅ Test your offers. You have a fantastic idea about a service you want to offer, but once it is out, you hear crickets, no worries this happen and doesn't mean it’s not a good idea. ✅ This is easy, but most filmmakers struggle with this one 👉🏾 post on social media regularly. I can go on with more tips for success with your online brand and film career, which I will do at my FREE webinar on November 28th, Cash In On Your Creativity: Make Your Brand Work for You. This is for filmmakers and film producers who want to establish themselves in the film industry in a different, more effortless way where clients and creative projects come to you. Comment below ME, and I’ll send you the link to join. When? November 28th at 3pm (CET)

AFM Day 3 My highlight of the day was meeting and networking with people out of the blue. This doesn't happen at European Markets or festivals as organic but I have to tell you the Americans know how to network and mingle. Yesterday, after I finished my meetings, I decided to pop up at The View to see if anything was going on. I bumped into The Tiny Viking Jessica Mathis and found out about the parties. One was a private event; we didn't have an invitation, but someone else forwarded us the invite for the other one. I ended up meeting really great people out of nowhere; Americans just talk to you and start the conversation. I am so bad at breaking the ice at networking events that sometimes it costs me to be alone for too long, but here, I just kept talking to people. Kept networking and sharing my contact information. This is something Europeans, especially Danes/Scandinavians, can learn. I know you will say that it is very superficial, but networking events are made to meet other people and are superficial until they are not. This is good for business, good for socializing, and good for the soul, too! You never know who you can meet at these events. ✅ Your next partner. ✅ Your next producer. ✅ Your next investor. ✅ Your next client. ✅ Your next gig. Next time we bump into a networking event, help me break the ice. I promise you won’t regret it! 🤩

AFM - Day 2 Today was completely booked out, or so I thought, until people didn't attend meetings. These are my insights from Day 2 at AFM ✅ If you can share contacts or connect the people you are meeting with to others, that’s a win for the other person. I know I do it. That pays off! Just today, I found a fabulous collaboration between the people I introduced. ✅ If you are not going to attend the meeting, let the other person know. I had three people who did not show up, no warning, nothing. I am still waiting for a message or something. ✅ Find a table and let people come to you. You can move around if you like to walk, but at some point, you will want to sit down. ❌ Even when you have a curated agenda, people will fail their meetings; don’t give up! ❌ Too much noise and loud music in the networking spaces sometimes, you can’t even think. ❌ Elevator mess: Sometimes, it takes 20 minutes to take your elevator up or down. Use the stairs, and you can do some cardio, too! Outfit of the day! The cute boss is here 😆
