☕ “Can you pass me the coffee?” ☕ At Mermaid Medical, it’s a tradition to have breakfast together on Fridays, and it’s such a great way to start wrapping up the week. Today was no exception! As we prepare for the upcoming holidays, everyone picked up their Christmas presents (thanks, “Santa!”), and got to share how we plan to celebrate and unwind - from cozy family dinners to sports-filled getaways. 💫

💚 Green News! 💚 We’re thrilled to announce that we’re officially ISO 14001 certified! 🍀 This is a big step in our journey towards minimizing our environmental footprint, and it underscores our commitment to sustainability. It also reflects our dedication to taking concrete actions that make a real difference for the planet. 🎄 Annual Christmas Celebration! 🎄 On Friday, we came together to celebrate our annual Christmas Party, kicking off the festivities with a classic Danish game: the gift game! 🎁 For those unfamiliar, the game involves rolling dice to collect as many of the wrapped gifts as possible before the timer runs out. The twist? You get to steal gifts from the other participants! It's a great way to spark holiday cheer while testing everyone’s patience and generosity. After the game, the good vibes continued with dinner and a show at "The Old Stables" in Copenhagen. We enjoyed a traditional Danish Christmas dinner, shared plenty of laughs, and even found time to show off some (more or less) dusty dance moves. 💃🕺 #WeAreOne

✨ A November Highlight ✨ A week ago, our colleagues Maria and Max participated in the Save Your Thyroid masterclass on microwave ablation. Here, they got to see the treatment of a lymph node metastasis in the left VI compartment of the neck with the thinnest antenna available, the 19G device from Canyon Medical Inc. We enjoy collaborations like these, with dedicated experts and advanced technologies, and as Maria says, being able to attend this masterclass organized by Stefano Spiezia has been a November highlight! 🙌

🤝 These Booths Are Made for Meeting 🤝 We often share pictures from big conferences with impressive, high-tech booths. But the truth is, these events only happen a handful of times each year. More often, our booths are much simpler when we attend smaller, local conferences. While we enjoy the excitement of large events and the chance to network with professionals from around the globe, there’s something special about connecting with our local communities. These smaller events allow us to build deeper relationships, gain regional insights, and uncover unmet needs in these areas.   It’s thanks to our Territory Managers that we’re able to build and nurture strong partnerships throughout the year. Several times a month, they pack up roll-ups, brochures, and products to represent us at local events. 🤾♂️ Passion Meets Purpose 🤾♂️ Did you know that Mermaid Medical is a proud partner of the local handball club, HØJ Elitehåndbold Ap? Our partnership goes far beyond sponsorship, and three of our Student Assistants successfully dribble between the handball court and our office every week! To Lucas Garsdal, Mikkel Olsen, and Tobias Kildegaard Nielsen, personal growth is just as important off the court as it is on it. Their ability to thrive in both arenas highlights the value of a supportive and flexible work environment. In Danish, we have a saying: 'to play each other better', and at Mermaid Medical, we live by this philosophy. It means fostering collaboration, camaraderie, and continuous learning. 🌍 #WeAreOne: A Unified Culture Across Borders 🌎 How do you make sure that everyone feels part of the company culture as a global company? At Mermaid Medical, one of the things we focus on is sharing stories, news, and updates on our internal app - and making sure it comes directly from our colleagues from our various locations. The feed is filled with stories from conference participation and training sessions, alongside moments from office events, Halloween costumes, and colleague celebrations. 🌐 Keeping a finger on the pulse 🌐 Earlier this week, we attended Medica, the annual trade fair for medical technology and healthcare. This event brings together professionals from around the world to explore the latest developments and innovations in MedTech and medical equipment. We love participating in events like these - they help us stay informed and ahead of the latest news, which is essential for offering the best possible solutions to our customers. We also got to catch up with some of our valuable partners, including CIVCO Medical Solutions, BiopSafe, Tricol Biomedical, Inc., and Uniray Medical LLP – which is always a highlight! 🤝 In our industry, staying on your toes is key.
