We proudly announce our collaboration with Brabant Water N.V. Water as part of their ambitious SOFIA (Smart Operations For Intelligent Assets) programme. This transformative initiative creates a Digital Twin of the drinking water network, leveraging innovative technologies to drive smarter, more efficient water management.   Through this partnership, Kamstrup will deliver over 60,000 NBIoT water meters in four sizes over the next 24 months. Our meters will provide critical data to the hydraulic model facilitating improved operational insights for Brabant Water   This project represents a significant milestone for the Netherlands, as one of the first large-scale digitisation efforts in the country’s water sector. December is the time for celebration, which means decorated offices around the world. But for us, it is also a time for togetherness, where our employees around the globe have gathered for festive moments.   From a cruise on the Oslo Fjord for our Norwegian colleagues, to a casino-themed evening in the United States, decorating offices with the little ones in Spain, celebrating the grand opening of our new office in Helsinki, and gathering 650 colleagues for a traditional Christmas dinner in Denmark, we've all had a special time with one another.   It has been incredible to see our employees together and we cannot wait to see what 2025 has in store!

We were truly honored to meet PETRA Deputy Minister YB Tuan Haji Akmal Nasir alongside our partner, Cubiq Meters. Our discussion centered on Kamstrup’s vision of transforming Non-Revenue Water (NRW) reduction into a catalyst for long-term sustainability, making NRW reduction initiatives attractive for all stakeholders. The conversation was both inspiring and productive, sparking exciting opportunities to scale this initiative on a national level. We’re proud to have contributed to the Water2Nepal project, which has achieved a significant milestone by launching the new overhead water tank and Nepal’s first-ever smart metering system. This initiative, supported by Kamstrup and other dedicated partners, ensures reliable, 24-hour water access for around 4,000 residents in the Madi region while promoting sustainable water management. By integrating innovative smart technology, we’re helping to optimise operations, reduce costs, and empower local communities. This sustainable initiative aligns with UN SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, optimising water management and empowering communities through innovative technology. It’s a great example of how collaboration can drive meaningful change.

Congratulations Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole! As of today 30.000 households in Perpignan are equipped with digital, ultrasonic water meters from Kamstrup. A national first at its scale. And the journey continues.  Together with our great client, La Catalane des Eaux - Eau Agglo – Eau agglo, part of VEOLIA, we are today celebrating that 30.000 households in the Perpignan area have been equipped with Kamstrup water meters, flowIQ® 2200.  In the press release La Catalane des Eaux – Eau agglo states amongst other that ‘Kamstrup’s flowIQ® 2200 meters provide unparalleled accuracy’. In the dry region of southern France, the Perpignan area is persistently challenged by droughts and scarce water resources. Thus, La Catalane des Eaux- Eau Agglo, responsible for water management in the region, decided to replace the mechanical water meters with digital, ultrasonic meters from Kamstrup with the aim of ensuring stable water supply and reducing water loss. Today, we celebrate the 30.000-meter milestone. By 2026 all households, a total of 120.000 households, in the Perpignan area will have digital, ultrasonic meters from Kamstrup installed - a national first at its scale. Referring to his own career path as a bumpy road, Morten has explored various fields, leading him to his current role as Head of Software & Analytics - Heat/Cooling.   At Kamstrup, Morten is known for his doodles which he carries with him everywhere. On the papers he is constantly drawing new ideas for innovation and impactful solutions that enables our customers to achieve their goals.   If you ask Morten what the most rewarding part of his role is, he will point towards his passion for leading and collaborating with a talented team. He thrives on the challenge of aligning technical aspects with human elements, ensuring that complex concepts are communicated effectively to people from diverse backgrounds.
