As we approach the end of the year and we continue Our Christmas Campaign where we highlight the incredible work done by our Teams across the world. Let’s take a look at GWS #UK and their 2024 achievements: The UK unit was named a Strategic Partner for Vestas Offshore Service NCE in 2024—an achievement shared by only one other company in Europe. Successfully commenced servicing of the RWE Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm. Completed an upgrades project on the Moray East Offshore Wind Farm. Achieved installation milestones, including 49 Vestas WTGs at North Kyle Onshore Wind Farm and 3 Nordex WTGs at Rigmuir Onshore Wind Farm. Delivered results on the Blade Adventure Project at the Burbo Bank Extension and Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farms. The UK team relocated to an office in Lowestoft, creating a more dynamic and collaborative workspace and sponsored two junior football teams. Also, Uk team member welcomed a new addition to their family. We’re proud of their achievements and look forward to continuing this momentum into the new year. As part of our ongoing Christmas campaign, we are excited to share some highlights from our team in Romania! This year, Global Wind Service in Romania successfully completed the installation wind turbines as part of the Medgidia project. To celebrate International Safety Day, our Romanian office employees participated in a First Aid course, reinforcing our commitment to a safe and supportive work environment. On top of that, our Romanian team celebrated family values with our “Drawing Contest for Your Children!”, where one of the winners was the child of a colleague from GWS Romania. Let’s take a look at GWS #Germany and their 2024 achievements: • Onshore Success: Installation and maintenance work across Germany with three service teams. • Offshore Milestone: Kicked off a three-year service project with RWE in May, covering Projects in German and British waters. • Team Growth: German team Welcomed Christine to the HR team in August, completing their strong back-office crew. • Team Spirit: Strengthened bonds through a challenging offshore training session and team cooking event in November. With promising project starts and a fantastic team spirit, GWS Germany has set the bar high for 2025. Recently, we sat down with Ryan Chen, our Taiwan Country Manager, to discuss Global Wind Service growth and progress over the last few years, its growing workforce, key projects, and exciting upcoming developments. Here is sneak peak of the conversation: "When we first started in 2020, it was just Branch Manager at the time Hans Hansen and myself. It was a very lean operation, but we had ambitious plans to grow. Fast forward to today, we now have a solid back-office team of seven people, covering HR, Finance, and Project Management. On top of that, we've built a team of 40 local technicians who handle the day-to-day operations in the field”.
