Who can tell if "Rainbow Dash" is about to steal your data or teach you about friendship? (Pro tip: If it sounds cute and deadly, it could be either 🦄☠️) Last night we got together after work. With most of us heading off for holiday break on Friday, it was the perfect excuse to share some Danish pancake balls and mulled wine while wishing each other a Merry Christmas. Benjamin Pomerleau, who always has something fun up his sleeve, came through with a quiz where we had to guess whether names belonged to criminal hacker groups or ponies from My Little Pony. (Harder than you'd think!) We also did our annual gift exchange. Instead of standard company presents, we each buy something for one colleague. You can really tell everyone put a lot of effort into finding something special. Looking at moments like these, we have to say - working with great people makes all the difference. Even if they judge your inability to spot a pony from a cyber criminal 😅

It's starting to feel quite repetitive, but the most used password is still "123456"… Every year NordPass publishes their list of the most used passwords in the world. And sadly, it shows that there is still a lot of bad passwords out there. Top 10 is: 1. 123456 2. 123456789 3. 12345678 4. password 5. qwerty123 6. qwerty1 7. 111111 8. 12345 9. secret 10. 123123 Speaking of predictable passwords, you might be surprised (or not) to learn that "monkey" ranks as the 21st most common password globally. While it's slightly more creative than counting to six, it's about as secure as using a banana peel to lock your front door. So, what can we learn from that? We still need to get people to start with the basics. Create long and unique passwords and add multi-factor authentication.

Last Friday, we wrapped up the year in style at our annual Christmas party. 🎄 ✨ We spent the night enjoying good food in great company, having genuine conversations and sharing stories during dinner. You know that moment when you look around and realize how great your colleagues really are? That was Friday night. Throughout the night, several of our Pilots stepped up and organized fun activities and entertainment, making the evening even more memorable. A special thank you to our amazing People and Culture team, Line Hansen and Stine Vangsgaard who made this special evening possible - you've done it again. You've managed to create a great setting for all of us to come together, connect, and celebrate.

Christmas is coming. Time to snuggle up and watch some good old Christmas movies. But before Christmas, Black Friday comes... Black Friday is like Christmas for scammers. And here’s the thing. Scammers are getting sneakier. They’re using AI to create convincing deals. Even fake products. Instead of going on about how cybercriminals exploit every major event, holiday, or crisis (because we know you’ve heard that before), we decided to do something different. Big thanks to Jonas Klærke Hejlskov for singing his heart out and bringing our (crazy) ideas to life. Remember. Even though the deals look super sweet, take your time and double-check those deals before you proceed. And btw, here's the lyrics for this new classic of a Black Friday Christmas song: I see it in my inbox I spot them on my feed Those tricky little pop-ups That aren’t quite what they seem I see a pop-up bouncing With colors wild and free Announcing crazy savings That sound too good to me I feel a text is coming I sense a fake deal near That hints at instant savings But something feels unclear Black Friday is now coming Make sure to be aware Hackers are all around us With tricks that's everywhere The deals may seem so tempting, But caution is your friend. Just pause before you click them, And check them to the end.

EDC, Maersk, 7-Eleven — we hear about these major hacks. But they’re just the tip of the iceberg. Most cyberattacks never make the headlines. Why? Companies often keep quiet to avoid the shame or damage to their reputation. But that silence hurts everyone. If we were more open about these attacks, we could learn from each other and make cybersecurity a bigger priority. More than half of Denmark’s largest companies have already been hit by cyberattacks - whether they’ve successfully defended against them or not. Imagine how much stronger we’d be if we shared what we’ve learned. 🤔

Your password needs to be long and unique. "Oh great," you're probably thinking. "Time to come up with another impossible-to-remember, overly complicated password that I'll end up resetting every time I try to log in." And if you're not thinking it, your colleagues probably are. Don't worry, we've got you covered with an easy approach that actually works. Start with a sentence you'll remember: "I love pizza on Fridays" Then follow these simple steps: - Capitalize the first letters in each word: I Love Pizza On Fridays - Remove spaces: ILovePizzaOnFridays - Add numbers: IL0veP1zza0nFrid4ys - Add special characters: IL0veP1zza0nFrid4ys?! Not a fan of pizza? No problem. It's 2024 - you can love whatever you want: - IL0veMyLittlePony! - IL0veGaming247! - IL0veCyberPil0t! And then, a final few things to remember: - Never share it - Change it regularly - Keep it personal

If you ask the serial cyber security entrepreneur Bjarke Petersen what he sees as the biggest challenges in regards to cyber security he will say budget and prioritization. One of the key strategies to maintain a high level of cyber security is to do a pen test. A pen test is a security exercise where a cyber-security expert attempts to find and exploit vulnerabilities in a companies computer system. The purpose of this simulated attack is to identify any weak spots in a system's defenses which attackers could take advantage of. We've talked a lot about our app. But you might be thinking: What does it actually look like? Think no further. Sarah Hofmann has made a short video to show how our app can be used to create security awareness training in your company. Have a look.

Are you telling me, that I can check if my colleagues actually read our IT Guidelines? YES!!! If you didn't already know. It's actually possible to upload your internal documents, such as guidelines, to our platform. Then, you can enroll them to your colleagues and see who has read them and who hasn't. This is quite useful as a lot of policies and guidelines collect dust on the shelf.
