Personal Care Unit Manager

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking a full time Personal Care Unit Manager. Candidates must be a PA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).

The Personal Care Unit Manager is responsible for overall clinical supervision of PC and Memory Support (MS) team members. 

Key responsibilities for this exempt-level leadership position include the following:

  • Comprehensive onboarding, training, and mentoring of PC and MS staff;
  • Planning educational programs, staff meetings and a positive work culture; 
  • Flexibility to have a presence on evening and weekends as needed;
  • Ensuring that Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations/guidelines are followed;
  • Participate in nursing leadership weekend coverage rotation.

This highly visible position partners directly with the Personal Care Administrator and Memory Care Nurse Manager to establish goals and assists with overall management as the designee in the absence of the Administrator. This is a “hands-on” supervisory position and the candidate may be asked to assist with daily nursing duties as needed.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Willing to embrace and educate on a person-directed approach to care.
  • Minimum of 2 years of personal care and/or memory care experience with excellent assessment and clinical skills.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role+ strong willingness to hold employees accountable for maintaining the highest levels of nursing standards and professionalism.
  • Must be a PA licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or PA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current CPR certification.
  • Strong working knowledge of 55 PA Code Chapter 2600- Personal Care Homes Regulations required.
  • Strong working knowledge of incident reports, RASPs, DMEs, and admission protocols + the ability and desire to ensure that team members are fully knowledgeable in the same.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently work within a PointClickCare medical records system is strongly preferred.

Assistant Dining Room Manager

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking full-time Assistant Dining Room Manager.

The assistant manager will be responsible for (but not limited to) staff recruitment, staff training, staff supervision, scheduling, coordinating events, and overseeing the bar and bartender during days of service. The assistant manager reports to the Dining Room Manager and works closely with them to facilitate all aspects of the dining room operation.

Dunwoody Village has completed the renovation of its dining rooms and food service venues as part of a $24 million capital project. The Assistant Dining Room Manager will work closely with the Dining Room Manager and Director of Dining Services during the project and will have the unique opportunity to impact the new venues successfully by training and recruiting staff to serve residents.

A successful candidate will possess the following:

  • This job requires working varied shifts – including some nights, some weekends, and participating in a holiday rotation;
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a dining-related supervisory/managerial role;
  • A strong desire to provide exceptional dining services to older adults;
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Experience in fine dining and/or country club setting;
  • Superb customer service and organizational skills;
  • Long term care experience is strongly preferred but not necessary;
  • Excellent communication skills as you will interact with residents, family members, and all levels of management;
  • Comfortable with interviewing potential new staff members;
  • RAMP and/or ServSafe certification strongly preferred;
  • Experience with point-of-service systems.

Part Time Weekend RN Supervisor with $5,000 sign on bonus!

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking to fill a Part-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor, 7 AM to 7:30 PM position for every other weekend (4 hours of overtime each shift. OT paid after 8 hours). This position requires working a holiday rotation. 

Those hired will receive a $5,000 sign on bonus paid during their first 6 months of employment.

RN Supervisors should understand that they will also be expected to accept floor assignments as necessary. 

The supervisor is responsible for clinical supervision of long-term care and short-term rehabilitation units.

Key responsibilities for this exempt-level leadership position include the following:

  • Comprehensive onboarding, training, and mentoring of staff; 
  • Supervising, auditing, and monitoring of above units;
  • Ensuring that Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) regulations/guidelines are followed.

Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Point Click Care experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience as a primary role.
  • Must be a PA licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current CPR certification.
