Sweetpea is the latest horror hit on Starz, and it’s guaranteed to bring the fear factor all fall long. There’s blood, there’s gore, and there’s murder—what else could you ask for in a thriller?

Based on CJ Skuse’s bestselling 2017 novel, Sweetpea follows Rhiannon (Ella Purnell), a newspaper receptionist desperate to be seen. Seemingly a “sweetpea,” this wallflower embarks on a violent rage after her father dies and her bully, Julia (Nicole Lecky), returns. Rhiannon shifts her target throughout the series and finds it easier to get away with murder than she thought.

Several deaths later (accidental or otherwise), Rhiannon is finally thriving at work as a junior reporter. Her co-worker, AJ (Calam Lynch), and crush, Craig (Jon Pointing), are both romantically interested. But will Rhiannon’s crimes continue to remain unnoticed?
