EXCLUSIVE: Here’s a trailer for season 2 of CBC’s Canadian anthology drama Plan B.
The high-concept drama series has an entirely new cast for its second run, following a new character who is given the chance to change her life — and those of people around her — by making use of a mysterious time-travel agency.
Synopsis for the season reads: “After Montreal police officer Mia Coleman (Vinessa Antoine) and her partner Tyler (Patrick Emmanuel Abellard) take a lenient approach to a marital dispute, the husband, Paul Whitman (Vincent Leclerc), murders his wife Keri (Sarah Booth) and their two small children, then kills himself. But Mia has stumbled across Plan B and finds herself able to book a trip into the past, and perhaps alter the outcome.”
The high-energy trailer shows Officer Coleman making the decision to change the past after the triple-murder tragedy. As she attempts alters history, she begins to realize how Plan B can alter the balance between criminals and victims and makes herself the most effective cop on the force. However, the more she struggles to effect change, the deeper into complication and crisis she sinks, especially as her own issues around control and jealousy are laid bare.
