🌍✨ 30% less energy – maximum efficiency! ✨🌍 In a current optimization project, the IR emitter rods in our finishing plants for pre-drying glass fabric have been upgraded to a new, even more energy-efficient model. 💡 The result? We achieve the same drying effect with around 30% less electricity! 🎯 By adjusting the heat output to the respective article, we not only save energy, but also reduce our CO2 emissions and costs. 🌟 Project highlight: Private residential project in Szczecin, Poland 🌟 We are pleased to present yet another exciting reference project! 🏠✨ We installed 180 m² of our glass fleece SYSTEXX Pure Fleece V16 on the walls and ceilings of a private apartment in Szczecin, Poland. The project was designed by the acclaimed interior designer Anna Buczny (Piękne Wnętrza). 🖌️🎨 Our Aqua Technology made renovation particularly quick and clean because it only needs water to activate the adhesive already applied to the back of the wall covering – just like a postage stamp. 💪 The glass fleece provides perfect coverage, concealing old wall paint and unevenness – ideal for decorating bedrooms and studies. The architect placed particular emphasis on flawless workmanship in this project in order to achieve invisible seams between the drops. 📸 A peek behind the scenes at Vitrulan – today: environmental management We take sustainability seriously and our environmental management allows us to navigate smoothly through the complex environmental laws. 🌍 Our aim is to take active responsibility and use resources sensibly. Efficient processes enable us to reduce waste, we reuse materials to save valuable resources, and we make sure waste is carefully separated and professionally recycled. We pass on 34 different types of waste to specialized disposal companies and minimize our residual waste. ♻️ The monitoring of our emissions is another important aspect. By working closely with environmental agencies, we ensure that we comply with all legal requirements, be it for noise, air pollution, or greenhouse gases. 💨 As part of our “Purifying water” project, we are working on ways to improve water quality through effective filtration. While we are already seeing the first signs of success, we are focusing on long-term strategies to achieve even better results. 🚰 Constant further education is just as important to us. Regular training courses keep our team up to date with the latest legal and environmental developments. 📚 The work of our environmental management team is crucial to our sustainability goals and demonstrates the importance of continuous training and innovative approaches to environmental protection. A new ambience in the blink of an eye! 🏡✨ Several rooms of a house in Herzberg were given a stylish renovation when 130 square meters of our SYSTEXX Pure Fleece V22 glass fleece were installed. 🏠 The photos show master painter René Anders using our glass fleece to design the future children's room on the top floor. It was a real joy to look over his shoulder as he worked. The customer discovered the product at a trade fair and was immediately hooked. Not surprising really, because “Aqua Technology” 💧 makes renovating particularly easy: the adhesive is already applied to the back of the wall covering and just requires water to be activated. These materials make it possible to manufacture products that are perfectly tailored to their intended areas of application. Overview of materials and their properties: Aramid fibers: extremely stiff and strong, shock absorbing, impact resistant, hard wearing and wear-resistant. (E-)glass fibers: excellent mechanical, thermal, and dielectric properties. Non-combustible, temperature resistant and resistant to weathering. Carbon fibers: extremely stiff, pressure resistant, fatigue strength at dynamic load exposure, and low thermal expansion. Polypropylene (PP) fibers: resistant against fatigue, strong, stiff, and hard. Hydrophobic and resistant to non-oxidizing acids and alkalis. Polyester fibers: extremely strong, low elongation, and available with low heat shrinkage. Polyamide fibers: elastic, expandable, tear and scrub resistant as well as recyclable. Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) fibers: highly temperature resistant (up to 240 °C), resistant to solvents, acids, and alkalis. Hybrid yarn: glass/polypropylene or glass/polyester.
