Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of the key topics we at Allianz Consulting, part of Allianz Services, are passionate about. In recent months, our colleagues in Paris participated in two wonderful events, demonstrating our commitment to social responsibility and community engagement. Two groups from Allianz Consulting France volunteered for half a day at the charity Emmaüs Défi in Paris. During this time, our colleagues learned about the process of collecting, repairing, and reselling second-hand items in the charity shop. They also had the opportunity to recycle old Playmobil toys and create new ones for children. All redesigned toys will be sold in the charity shop as well. This initiative not only supports sustainable practices but also brings joy to children and families in need. Subsequently, our colleagues had another chance to engage with the community by visiting UniR Universités & Réfugié.e.s. They joined a workshop focused on the social and professional integration of refugees and asylum seekers. During the workshop, they paired up with individuals from diverse backgrounds to review resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles. This effort plays a crucial role in empowering refugees and asylum seekers, helping them to integrate more effectively into society. Many thanks to our colleague Robin K. for the organization. 🎉 Exciting Highlights from the AZC x TUM Alumni Fireside Chat! We recently hosted an engaging fireside chat with Technical University of Munich's Faculty of Business and Economics alumni, that focused on the crucial topics of Diversity and Inclusion at Allianz Consulting, part of Allianz Services. During the event, we proudly highlighted two of our key initiatives: the ‘Women in Consulting Community’ which aims to empower and support women within the consulting field by providing a platform for networking, mentorship, and professional development, and the ‘GRACE (Global Race and Cultural Ethnicity) Network’ which is instrumental in promoting cultural awareness and understanding . These groups are at the heart of our efforts to foster a more inclusive and diverse workplace. Our colleagues Rocío Osorio, Hannah Thomé and María Jesús Imaná Imaná, LL.M. shared their personal journeys in driving these initiatives and explained why they hold such significance for them. They highlighted the invaluable support received from our leadership and the importance of having role models who have supported them from the very beginning in building these communities.
