Whatfix, the Bengaluru-based SaaS digital adoption platform, has successfully raised nearly $125 million in its latest funding round! This round was led by Sweet Nectar Investments (Warburg Pincus LLC) and SoftBank Investment Advisers, marking Whatfix's first major funding in three years. The investment includes Rs 296.74 crore in primary capital and nearly Rs 530 crore in secondary funding. According to regulatory filings, the board approved issuing 13,201 Series E CCPS at Rs 2,24,788.44 per share. Existing backer SoftBank contributed Rs 210.5 crore, while Sweet Nectar Investments led the round with a significant Rs 615 crore. Founded in 2013 by Khadim Batti and Vara Kumar Namburu, Whatfix has established itself as a leading digital adoption platform, helping organizations maximize the benefits of their software through data-driven insights and seamless user onboarding. Beware of the Latest EMV Offline Transaction Fraud! A new fraud scheme has emerged, targeting EMV offline transactions. Fraudsters are exploiting a vulnerability in certain payment devices to bypass authorization and complete fraudulent transactions. How it works: *Fraudsters use a mobile app to trick payment devices into offline mode. *They then initiate a transaction without proper authorization. *This results in unauthorized purchases or gift card activations.
