🔎 We’re Hiring: Unity 3D Developer Wanted for Car Simulator Game Project! 🚗 PENGUIN Studio is on the lookout for skilled Unity 3D developers! If you have experience in 3D modeling, developing vehicle physics, and working with soft-body physics, this might be your perfect next project. 💻 🕹️ Project Overview: We’re building a car simulator with a focus on technical maintenance, repair, and tuning mechanics. Imagine the thrill of taking cars apart, upgrading engines, and restoring body parts – that’s the experience we aim to deliver! Here’s what we’re working on: Core Game Mechanics: 1. Assembly/Disassembly Mechanics Players will start with one car model and a single engine type. They’ll be able to take parts off the car (doors, hood, bumpers, etc.) and reassemble or replace them. Each part has multiple conditions (e.g., pristine, worn, or damaged) that affect vehicle performance. 🚗🔧 2. Bodywork Repairs Rusty fenders? No problem! Players can replace damaged body parts or repair and paint them in-game. From minor rust removal to full-scale part replacement, we’re bringing depth to customization. 🎨🔩 3. Engine Overhaul Engines will consist of multiple components (pistons, crankshaft, etc.), and each part’s condition impacts the engine’s performance. Players will be able to swap engines, adding depth to the maintenance experience. 🔥 4. Driving Mechanics Cars must be fully drivable with interactive elements (e.g., working dashboard, openable doors, etc.). Simple soft-body physics will add realism to minor damage. Players will test their repairs with a quick spin! 🏎️ 5. Additional Mechanics • Car races (coming soon) • Random repair orders in the player’s garage • Parts sourcing from scrapyards Platform: Desktop (Windows) What We’re Looking For: • Experience with Unity 3D and 3D modeling • Strong knowledge of vehicle physics and soft-body dynamics • Ability to handle in-game part conditions and performance impact • Passion for developing complex systems in the simulation genre Think you’re a good fit? 🚀 Let’s create a groundbreaking simulation experience together.
