Iran - Germany The specific Iranian cultural identity, based on Persian as its own educational and cultural language, formed over the millennia, the connection via Alexander the Great, ancestor of the Albanians, via the Balkans to Central Europe and, above all, the developments that repeatedly emerged in the transregional networks of traders and scholars or in the upheavals of war and flight show that Persian culture, whether in medicine, technology, art, agriculture and architecture, has had a lasting influence on Western DNA. Despite this, invaders and displaced persons continued to influence language and culture, only to constantly renew them. A fascinating cultural landscape developed in Iran over thousands of years. Between deserts, mountain ranges and bodies of water, the region was home to great historical civilisations, but its artistic achievements are largely unknown beyond the specialist world due to the discussion about the rogue government in Tehran. Yet it is not only one of the oldest and most important global cultural regions, but also an important cultural, artistic and scientific source of inspiration beyond its borders - including for Europe. Highlights were the great empires of the Achaemenids and Sasanids, the formation of a Persian-Islamic culture, the artistic masterpieces of the 9th to 13th centuries and the heyday of the Safavids, but also the beginning of the industrial revolution. In 2015, for example, during a routine construction project in Borujerd (Iran), an ancient aqueduct system was unexpectedly discovered hidden beneath the remains of a historic castle. This sophisticated network of clay pipes and ceramic vessels demonstrated a remarkably advanced understanding of water management. The system is thought to date from the Sassanid period (224-651 AD), although some experts suggest it could be even older. The materials and techniques used for the aqueduct indicate a high level of technical skill and challenge our notions of ancient technology. This significant find, with its advanced design for water purification and distribution, suggests a civilisation with exceptional technical capabilities. Ongoing research aims to uncover the exact origins of the aqueduct, adding to the intrigue and raising questions about the people who built it and what other secrets may lie beneath the surface. However, when we think of Iran's enormous cultural and historical significance, our perception today is determined by political problems and contemporary issues. This has been particularly true for Iran since the 1979 revolution to become an Islamic republic, which defines our collective memory. It is important that we also perceive the other side of Iran and it is important that Iran remembers its own DNA and sends the rogues in Tehran home and thus takes responsibility for Persia's future in this world. Iran does not need weapons, it does not need missiles for Moscow, Iran needs a future for its great nation.

Lake Shkodra is known from over 2,000 publications made throughout human history. it is considered among the 40 most famous carst lakes on Earth. Most of the studies belong to the last 150 years, and especially from the middle of the XX century up today. The authors of these works are Albanians, Montenegrin, Serbs, Bosnian, French, Germans, Austrians, Italians, Americans, Croatians, Slovenians, Macedonians, Hungarians, Russians, Poles, Czechs, Slovaks, Dutch others. Several serious publications have been realized until now, such as the book with editors Karaman & Beeton (1981), some proceedings of scientific conferences of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, Academy of Sciences of Albania (2011), as well as several monographic works. These two or three recent decades, many publications have been published by specialists from the department of biology - chemistry and department of geography, of Shkodra University "Luigj Gurakuqi". In about one decade, two books on Shkodra Lake have been published by Dhora (2005, 2012), as well as several publications with an ecological character, such as on the characteristics, stability and resilience, trophy, naturalness, management, etc. A recent version (in Albanian language) of the book about Shkodra Lake is been published on 2016 and posted online for free.

Out of hundreds of missiles and drones launched, only a few entered Israel's airspace and hit the target. In the meantime, a number of drones landed on Iranian soil and harmed Iranian citizens. Don't you see that the military force, which was once the envy of the armies of the region and the world, has now become a mockery of the world and its only function is to kill and oppress defenseless people and arm terrorist groups? Come to your senses and don't stand by this incompetent and anti-Iranian regime any longer. Iran has tried to expand its support—and that of its partners—among Sunni Arabs angry at the destruction and catastrophic loss of Palestinian lives in Gaza and exert greater influence over the political outcome of the Gaza conflict. It has also sought to deepen its cooperation with Russia in Syria, where Israel’s attacks against Iranian positions have intensified. But Tehran’s actions also appeared to have been carefully calibrated to prevent an all-out war. For decades, Iran has been building its influence across the Middle East by establishing its so-called axis of resistance, a group of proxy forces and partners in a number of countries in the region. In theory, this strategy stressed that if Israel attacked one member of the axis, the others would come to its defense… CLIMATE CHANGE The balance of interests that has generally driven Iran’s restraint, however, is changing. There has been a shift toward hard-liners in both the Iranian and Israeli governments, and Israel’s strike on Iran’s consulate in Damascus crossed a Rubicon. At the same time, Iran’s domestic politics have been rocked by turmoil, including economic struggles, mass protests for women’s rights in 2022, and recent ethnic altercations in Baluchistan. Leaders in Tehran now have a more urgent need to restore their external deterrence and address internal challenges to their authority and sovereignty…. Israel is hoping to transform its security outlook through the destruction of Hamas and Hezbollah. But put plainly, brute military force cannot eradicate either group. Although their capacities may be degraded, they will reemerge in time, having learned from the experience. As the risk of an expanded regional war grows, so does the urgency of ending the war in Gaza, negotiating disputes about the Israeli-Lebanese border, and establishing a serious political process between Israelis and Palestinians that recognizes Palestinians’ right to full self-determination. Unless negotiation remains a top priority, the violent ambitions espoused by hard-liners in both Iran and Israel will win out. And Iran’s panoply of nonstate actors will continue to find purchase among increasingly angry and disenfranchised populations, not only in the Palestinian territories but across the region.
