Our consultancy, GLOBEONE – Transform to Better, launched the most renowned ranking on purpose credibility in the German-speaking markets, the Purpose Readiness Index 2024 (PRI). 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐑𝐈 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝: The new PRI shows how companies and organizations demonstrate their positive contribution to society. We surveyed around 5,900 consumers for the most comprehensive study to date on the purpose credibility of the German economy. They were asked to rate more than 170 organizations on their future viability, sustainability, authenticity and social relevance. The higher companies and organizations rank, the better their public perception is in these dimensions and the better they are positioned for future growth. The PRI provides you with an external benchmark to assess how well and credibly your company is positioned and where there is room for improvement. After delays, broken air condition, failed reservations, construction sites, collisions, people on the tracks, terminated trains, I arrived at 3:30 with more than 6 hours delay in Hamburg. 💡 My intercultural challenge was learning Beer-Pong. I recently had the opportunity to participate in an extraordinary event entirely dedicated to innovation and digital transformation. Invited by Futurelabs gGmbH, the kickoff of the Innovation Circle took place on August 20, 2024, in the workshop at Futurelabs in Lauda-Königshofen. The warm welcome by Dr. Gunther Wobser, CEO of LAUDA (a world leader in precise temperature control), underlined the importance of this initiative. The main topic was the presentation by Florian Grunwald, IT Manager at LAUDA, and Florian Baader, CEO of SelectCode. They introduced LAUDA.GPT, a comprehensive AI platform developed in collaboration with SelectCode. The entire development and implementation process was thoroughly examined, from creating the requirements specification to the phased introduction of the platform. Topics such as data security, hosting within the EU or on-premises, and avoiding vendor lock-ins were also clearly and convincingly covered. Practical tips on prompting, i.e., how to achieve better results through well-structured queries to the AI, brought some smiles 😉: "Take a deep breath before you answer" or "you will receive $20 if the answer is good" are instructions that have been proven to lead to better results. Successfully conducted was also the initial survey via Mentimeter, where participants answered questions about AI usage, AI tools, and expected effects. This not only fostered exchange but also enabled a lively discussion about the challenges and opportunities that integrating AI into business processes brings. In conclusion, the Futurelabs team expressed their joy at the strong response to the event and emphasized the importance of such networks to strengthen regional competitiveness. The event once again demonstrated how crucial it is to stay current with technology and constantly seek new ways to optimize business processes. I look forward to further exchanges and the opportunity to actively contribute to promoting innovation in the industry.

Go big with a grand vision? Or niche down to a specific solution? 💎 Storytelling is essential to captivate and engage. A narrower focus allows for a more compelling narrative. 🤓 All the New you need to know about Innovation Management in 60 Minutes... That was the title of my presentation in Tim Schweisfurth's class on innovation management today at the TU Hamburg-Harburg. I always enjoy the lively discussions with students and sharing my perspective of what makes innovation management successful. We discussed how the students would organize innovation management and saw that no one was really satisfied with the ideas. In fact, we also saw that this is true for most CEOs, also being unsatisfied with their companies' innovation performance. So, I tried to show how the practice of innovation management might need a reboot and how our ITONICS - The Innovation OS contributes to it with its 🔭 automatic detection and alerting system for new developments and opportunities, ⚖️ability to provide auto-evaluations of ideas and concepts, 💡ability to auto-generate ideas (that are hard to differentiate from human ideas), and 🤝 ability to act as an innovation buddy, supporting research, idea refinement, and automatic reports at the fingertips Ultimately, one of the key questions was: How fast will these new developments diffuse and change innovation operations? Really good question which I wasn't really able to answer yet. It was a real pleasure! Thanks for the invite and the engaging discussions.

Over drinks we found ourselves vividly arguing about this article. Many points mentioned we can all agree on - AI- and RPA-Capabilities are often still not understood - Yet, we can all agree on the potential of imbedding AI and RPA solution in our daily routines - Use Cases are the most common way to carve out that potential and free budgets by the means of business cases That being said, it might be time to take discussion to next level as - Application of GenAI-Technologies seem so broad and deeply embedded in operations that the evade the standard business case logic. ‘Mobile Computing’ was best analogy we came up with  - Taking of being ‘deeply embedded in operations’ we talk about the support of daily (human) routines. Say, draft an email, a workshop agenda etc. We are certainly going to see a new level of cyber-physical systems emerging that rather describe an ecosystem than a single case - Putting AI and RPA Social challenges requires intend. Recent customer problems solved with the help of a Dragon Suit programme. IN-PERSON WORKSHOP (EU robotics client): Problem-solving & communication between German and Chinese sides struggled. Germans saw Chinese managers as unreliable, Chinese saw Germans as slow and picky. Approach: Intercultural briefings and forming cross-cultural functional pairs for effective virtual collaboration. VIRTUAL WORKSHOP (Chinese/EU automotive client): Chinese executives prepared for 1-3 months in EU countries with little idea about diversity between countries and industries like banking, engineering, HR services (mostly state-owned on the Chinese side). Approach: We prepared both sides with social/cultural awareness and straightforward communication skills. PERSONAL ADVISORY (EU tech client): Market entry and solution localisation in China & APAC required cultural insight and professional network that EU managers didn’t have. The tech solution is highly consumer-focused but Asian consumers act differently from the firm’s legacy market. Approach: Auditing marketing materials and negotiation for “culture traps”, and connecting the firm with potential local partners in the industry. 🚀 Tech Revolution Summit Last week I had the pleasure to be at the Accenture Tech Revolution Summit 2024 in Bogenhausen (smartvillage GmbH). What did I take with me? That beside the hype around technology advancement the human being is still in the center. How do we work together in future? How do we adapt technology in our processes?
