As we all know, Laravel 11.3 has added the "hasAny" method to the session, which works great when checking to see if multiple values are in the session. I'm loving this new update! How about you guys? How are you using or integrating it into your projects? For those who might not be familiar with this change, the "hasAny" method allows you to check for the presence of any number of specified keys in the session data, which can be really handy. 👨‍💻 Exciting Learning Journey with React Native Animations 👨‍💻 As part of my ongoing research and passion for mobile development, I recently took on the challenge of recreating the business page of the Wolt food delivery app, focusing on their impressive animations. 📱✨ Rather than using direct references or guides, I implemented the animations based on my observations of the app, using my approach in React Native. This project was both challenging and rewarding, providing me with deeper insights into the capabilities of React Native and its animation libraries. Laravel Tip 💡 Did you know about `dispatchAfterResponse` method? In some use cases. You don't need a queue worker to be running in order for a job to be processed. And yet, you still need to queue the extra functionality and process it a delayed queued job and not require the client to wait few more seconds for non-response-related tasks. Well, you can use the `dispatchAfterResponse` method inorder to proccess any dispatched job right after the response is sent back to the client without needing to run a queue worker or set up a proccess monitor. Important: this will only work if your web server is using FastCGI. #laravel #php #queue

I spent a considerable amount of time working on exporting PDFs from hidden HTML templates in a Vue.js 3 project. I encountered several challenges, particularly with rendering content correctly and ensuring images loaded properly across different devices, especially on older iOS versions. After thorough research and experimentation, I was finally able to resolve these issues. In this article, I’ve shared my solution in hopes that it will help other developers facing similar problems. The article covers setting up Vue with TypeScript, generating PDFs using html2pdf.js, and overcoming common rendering challenges.

I have been committed to #neovim as my text editor for the last 2 weeks yesterday I returned to using Vscode temporarily (I did not know how to make neovim understand my NestJS project #skill_issue) anyway this is my last NestJS project and after finishing it I will run back to neovim but I am here to say I understand now why people say that using something like Vim - neovim will increase your productivity, now while using Vscode I can feel that I am slower and I hate it 🙂 #nvim #vim #neovim #vscode #developer #software_engineer

🚀 Spring Boot vs. Laravel: My Ongoing Journey with Spring Boot and a Nod to Laravel's Simplicity 🎟️ A while back, I shared my excitement about diving into Spring Boot to build a ticketing application, after being a long-time Laravel enthusiast. Since then, I've had some additional experiences that I think are worth discussing—especially when it comes to comparing the two frameworks. The Challenge: Integrating Google Sign-In with React Recently, I tried to modify my Spring Boot ticketing app to include Google Sign-In. What I thought would be a quick task turned into a week-long project! In Laravel, this would have taken me about 10 minutes with socialite. The difference in ease of integration was a stark reminder of why I love Laravel. Reset Password Feature Another thing I realized while working on this project is how spoiled I've been by Laravel's built-in features, like the "reset password" functionality. It's been ages since I had to build this from scratch because Laravel makes it so seamless. In Spring Boot, however, it took more effort to set up than I anticipated. Laravel's Respect All of this has made me appreciate Laravel even more. It’s true—Spring Boot is incredibly powerful and fast, especially when it comes to performance. But there are things Laravel just makes easier. People sometimes overlook how much Laravel simplifies complex tasks, and I think it deserves more respect for that. Final Thoughts I'm still committed to mastering Spring Boot, and I'm confident that, with time, I'll be just as proficient with it as I am with Laravel. But this experience has taught me that while new tools can be exciting and powerful, there's something to be said for the ease and simplicity of the tools you're already familiar with. For those considering a switch or learning a new framework: embrace the challenge, but don't forget to appreciate the strengths of the frameworks you've already mastered. Laravel may not be the fastest, but its simplicity can be a real game-changer.
