#synaos

Why do 20-30% of #automation projects fall short? It’s all about treating the shop floor as an interconnected system. When automating #intralogistics, it’s not just about adding new AGVs or AMRs — it’s about understanding the shop floor as a system of interconnected parts. Application design isn’t just a step — it’s the foundation. Without a road map that goes beyond isolated automation, even the best mobile robots can’t deliver their full value. Designing with the bigger picture in mind ensures each piece of technology complements the next, creating a seamless, scalable operation. Thank you to SYNAOS for the opportunity to speak at the Mobile Robotics Summit in Düsseldorf on October 9th. Engaging discussions during my keynote on the Future of Smart Factories highlighted the significance of Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMRs) combined with digitalization in modern-day manufacturing. Amazon's commitment to innovation in robotics, particularly at their fulfillment centers, showcases the potential of cyber-physical systems in shaping the factories of tomorrow. Amazon Web Services (AWS) plays a pivotal role in driving this transformation, and ensuring seamless factory operations. SYNAOS demonstrated this by integrating various AMRs, and interfacing the automation with systems like MES/WMS, using AWS. This enables enterprises freedom to select top-tier mobile robots without their interoperability concerns. Highly secure, reliable and resilient on-premises to cloud architectures can now be built using AWS services for end-to-end factory automation. We are excited to contribute to the advancement of your future factories.

EXCEL-based planning does nothing for your operational EXCELlence 😉 #Intralogistics is often seen as a static, segmented process. The truth is, operational excellence comes from understanding your warehouse or production facility as a holistic, dynamic system rather than as individual parts. Real operational excellence demands real-time data and the capability to adapt as conditions change as Dr. Philipp Schäfers explains. To futureproof your intralogistics, build an infrastructure that collects, connects, and uses data and always finds the best possible solution for the task to be fulfilled. Ready to make intralogistics smarter and more efficient?
