🎉 Wrapping Up 2024 with a Delicious Milestone! 🍳🥔 This year, we reached an incredible milestone in our offshore Catering Campaign! Together with our trusted partner Good Food And More GmbH, we provide catering and housekeeping services for HVDC platforms in the German North Sea.  Here are some impressive numbers of consumed goods and people served offshore in 2024:     👉 66,240 eggs  👉 5,950 kg of potatoes  👉 about 33,000 people served with delicious meals and drinks Behind these numbers stand 7 dedicated teams of 5 people each, led by a Camp Boss, along with skilled cooks and stewards, ensuring smooth operations.  This project started as an independent initiative and, since March 2023, has become an integral part of the MEiC Project, running strong for 5 years. By delivering excellence in catering and housekeeping, we are proud to contribute to the reliable operation of various HVDC platforms in the German North Sea . 🎄Christmas Time at SeaRenergy Group! Sharing impressions from this year’s Christmas event! We’ve had a great time at our Christmas party, celebrating with the whole SeaRenergy Group, together with The Asian Spirit Steamship Company GmbH & Cie. KG (ASSC) and RI Partners. 🌍 Supporting the offshore industry in the Baltics It was a privilege to present our services to the Estonian Delegation at the Erneuerbare Energien Hamburg (EEHH) headquarters! The exchange aimed to connect companies and share expertise to foster collaboration in offshore wind and hydrogen, supporting the Baltic region's ambitious renewable energy goals. Estonia is leading the way with plans to source 100% of its electricity from renewables by 2030. Investments like €53 million in the Port of Tallinn underline the growing importance of offshore wind. Jelte-Steffen Hipp from Elbe1 GmbH, alongside Yannick Schmidt and Julian Moritz Dannemann from SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH, represented the SeaRenergy Group and presented our extensive Offshore Wind Services. Projects like Elwind, a joint Estonian-Latvian offshore wind initiative, will further enhance green energy production and connectivity in the region. 💡 India’s Offshore Wind Potential: A New Chapter in Renewable Energy It was an absolute privilege to welcome the Indian delegation during WindEnergy 2024! Our discussions were insightful and highlighted the tremendous strides India has made in the renewable energy sector. As of now, India ranks as the 4th largest wind energy producer globally, holding a significant 5% of the world’s installed onshore wind capacity. 🌍 While onshore wind has been a strong pillar, India’s 7,500 km of coastline opens up an entirely new opportunity for offshore wind energy. Although this segment is still in its early stages, the potential for growth is vast. 🌊 Curious about work in the offshore industry? Florian Axt, one of our offshore logistics managers, has shared a video showcasing a crucial part of our operations. Watch as he stows and secures ULBs (returnable containers) filled with various waste fractions into a 20” container. This meticulous process ensures they won't shift or press against the door, preventing potential hazards when opened. This container has been loaded onto our supply ship, the PSV "FS Abergeldie" (which we charter to TenneT TSO GmbH), using a platform crane for its journey to Emden. Upon arrival, all containers will be unloaded either in the logistics hub or at the port with EPAS.
