Thirty years ago, we took a key step that helped shape who we are today. In 1994, MTU Friedrichshafen partnered with the U.S.-based Detroit Diesel Corporation (DDC), merging German engine expertise with DDC’s prominent role in the U.S. diesel engine market. Just two years later, the Series 2000 and 4000 engines were born. Today, these Series remain essential to our portfolio, and the roots of this partnership live on. Colleagues at our plant in Aiken manufacture and remanufacture Series 4000 engines, while in Mankato gensets that power data centers and critical infrastructure across the Americas are assembled. 2024 was an eventful year for us with major orders and technical milestones – for example, the first hybrid drives in Italian ferries, major orders from data center customers, and the overhaul of engines for military vehicles. #DYK that more than 40,000 mtu products have already undergone our Remanufacturing process? Around 1,500 engines and systems as well as thousands of components are overhauled, repaired or remanufactured in our Reman centers every year - with more to come. The heart of Rolls-Royce's remanufacturing processes is located in Magdeburg - in addition to a recently expanded plant in North America. One of the key elements of a successful #energytransition is the development of capacity markets. Instead of trading the energy actually delivered, the potential capacity is traded. One of our latest projects there is being installed by Terra Firma Energy Limited in Droitwich, UK. With a total output of 5 MW 💪, two of our mtu hydrogen-ready 20V4000 L64 FNER gas gensets, containerized by our partner Yellow Power Ltd support the British power grid. The grid operator, National Energy System Operator, can rely on reliable energy ⚡ when renewable sources may fall short during the country's first coal-free 🌍 winter. Congratulations to VfB Stuttgart on winning the 20th mtu-Cup. Last weekend, 24 teams from four continents demonstrated their skills at the U15 indoor football tournament. Local teams were also in attendance, giving them the chance to play against the big football stars of tomorrow. In addition to football skills, team spirit and fairness were also important. For the first time, main sponsor Rolls-Royce Power Systems donated a Fairness Cup this year to mark the anniversary. Power Systems CEO Dr. Jörg Stratmann awarded it to Sudeva Delhi FC. “Our core values form the basis for long-term and successful partnerships. Treating others decently, in other words fairly, is the basis for a trusting relationship, whether in private or in business. That is why we have decided to present the mtu Fairness Cup today,” said Dr Jörg Stratmann. The winners of the indoor tournament played Olympique Marseille in the final, which ended 4:1 in their favour. FC Bayern Munich won the third-place. Marquinhos (S.E.
