Over the next two years, EGDF will continue to help game developers survive the difficult times by: 1️⃣ support strategic initiatives fostering European digital sovereignty in the game industry, 2️⃣ continuing its efforts to improve game developers' access to funding and emerging industry opportunities and  3️⃣ strengthening the European game industry data and skill frameworks.

We had our annual Winter DevSummit in Munich at the end of November, and it was a blast! ❄️☃️(🌧️) The summit was packed with engaging sessions and insightful talks, and we even had an amazing gaming night where we played each other's games. It's always a joy to see the creativity and passion within our family of game studios. Sport, Trends, Innovation, Technologien & Games.. all das konnten wir von Gamify now diese Woche hautnah bei der ISPO in München erleben. Hierbei gab es nicht nur die bekannten Flagschiffe der Sporttextilbranche, die ihre Neuheiten vorstellten, sondern auch ganz viel Tech-Innovation zu sehen. Gerade in FIT-TECH zeigt sich immer mehr, dass motivierende Fitnessvideos nicht mehr ausreichen. Vielmehr schreien die Neuheiten danach, die spielerischen und technischen Elemente von Games und Fitnesselemente zu kombinieren. Mit Hilfe von Gamification und Games lassen sich nicht nur Sprachen wunderbar lernen (Shoutout an Duolingo), sondern auch die eigene Fitness stetig steigern. Gerade in Sachen Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement ergeben sich völlig neue und moderne Wege, wie man gemeinsam als Team nicht nur etwas für die Gesundheit tun kann, sondern auch für das Teamgefühl.
