It’s already December, and what a year it’s been! We’ve navigated changes, grown as a team, and tackled so many incredible projects that pushed our creativity in exciting new ways. And just because it’s the final month of the year doesn’t mean we slowed down—December was packed to the brim! ✨ The month kicked off with the it-sa Recap Day, our final webinar of the year for our client @it-sa. A huge thank you to them for their trust throughout 2024! ✨ Then came one mega week where four events happened back-to-back: 🏆 The Engagementpreis NRW 2024 for the Staatskanzlei NRW took place in Düsseldorf’s stunning Rheingoldsaal. Lara led the project on-site, joined by Ilena. ✈️ The Eurowings Weihnachtsfeier was a festive highlight! We were thrilled to welcome Eurowings as a new client and managed everything from planning to on-site execution. Miriam was in charge, supported by Laura, Lara, Hannah and Ilena. 🎤 HRS Talk and /End of Year Event rounded off the week, with Lara leading the project and Ilena providing support. ✨ Marketing magic! We also supported our friends at JCON with some creative brainstorming for their marketing ideas. ✨ On top of all the events, we welcomed Ilena to the PIRATEx crew this month. We’re so happy to have you on board! ✨ Finally, the highlight of the month: our PIRATEx Christmas Party! 🎉 A day full of fun activities, reflecting on our year, and enjoying some well-deserved Christmas cheer over dinner—nothing beats coming together as a team. November always feels like a transitional month—Halloween’s just passed, but it’s not quite Christmas…or is it? Some of us (ahem, me! 🙋♀️) already have our presents wrapped! 🎁 While the festive season is creeping closer, this month has been all about incredible projects, meaningful teamwork, and planning for what’s ahead. ⭐ ada Lovelace Festival: We started the month in Ludwigsburg, where Hannah, Laura, and Chris brought the theme of “New Utopias” to life. Months of preparation went into crafting a stunning visual stage concept, event branding, and a smooth technical production. Watching the event unfold perfectly on-site was a true highlight! ⭐ SZ-Wirtschaftsgipfel: Next, we traveled to Berlin to support Süddeutsche Zeitung with their annual economic summit. Toumaj Aminian led on-site efforts, ensuring seamless video animations, image recordings, and the complete event recording. With high-profile guests like business leaders and politicians, attention to detail was everything—and we delivered! ⭐ Ukraine-Konferenz NRW: Back in Cologne, the Ukraine Conference for the State Government of NRW took place at the Flora. Laura and Lara managed the production brilliantly, while much of our team visited to support on-site. Teamwork is key to the success of every event. So that’s why we also like to gather and celebrate together. And this is exactly what we did this month. Everyone gathered for a cozy team afternoon at the Christmas market in Cologne. These moments of connection are invaluable, even though this one was bittersweet as we said goodbye to Frederic and Chris.
