Info
Musical Bits creating creativity Musical Bits creates software that creates music, with the support of AI. The MusicalBits platform does not simply machine learn sounds and frequencies, but models the creative mind of a composer with all underlying concepts like harmonic developments, arrangements with different densities, tension building, lyrics and vocals, production sets and all instruments. The Musical Bits platform comes with its own mapping engine, that allows the mapping of interpolated value developments to musical structures. These values may origin from human body data and movements recorded in realtime, from photos, paintings or videos or from our own emotion modelling engine EME. The composers we virtualize have participated in chart breaking productions worldwide and worked for and with the biggest record companies, cinema production studios and game development creators.

🎵 Ethical Ai use in Music ⛈ We're honored to be mentioned in a recent Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung article addressing the growing concerns surrounding AI in music production. The piece highlights a call to action from over 200 musicians—including the likes of Billie Eilish, Stevie Wonder, and Pearl Jam—for greater rights for artists in an era where their works are increasingly used to train AI systems. 🛡 At Musical Bits, we believe initiatives such as Fairly Trained are pivotal. They not only highlight the origin of the the creative and intellectual contributions of human artists but also pave the way for a collaborative future where technology and creativity generate mutual benefits. Please reach out if you want to know more about the Label "Fairly Trained" or how we work at Musical Bits. https://lnkd.in/eV9SrtfB

📢 MusicalBit's Chief Computational Poetry Officer Thomas Schmidt has just returned from a stay at The University of Texas at Austin Besides consultations with the Texas German Dialect Project and the Archive of the Indigenous Languages of Latin America, he also gave a talk on "Music, Artificial Intelligence and Linguistics". 🤖 A critical audience of linguists, literary scholars and musicians were introduced to MusicalBit's approach to AI-enhanced composition and production. 🙏 Thanks to all those present for their lucid comments and encouragement. Thomas concluded his stay with a little pilgrimage to Memphis, Tennessee. 🎻 After, a visit to the Sun Studios and to Graceland he wants to remind us all that it's the singer AND the song AND whatever tools and instruments are used to produce great music. #aimusic #computerlinguistic #musiccreation
