📢 MusicalBit's Chief Computational Poetry Officer Thomas Schmidt has just returned from a stay at The University of Texas at Austin Besides consultations with the Texas German Dialect Project and the Archive of the Indigenous Languages of Latin America, he also gave a talk on "Music, Artificial Intelligence and Linguistics". 🤖 A critical audience of linguists, literary scholars and musicians were introduced to MusicalBit's approach to AI-enhanced composition and production. 🙏 Thanks to all those present for their lucid comments and encouragement. Thomas concluded his stay with a little pilgrimage to Memphis, Tennessee. 🎻 After, a visit to the Sun Studios and to Graceland he wants to remind us all that it's the singer AND the song AND whatever tools and instruments are used to produce great music. #aimusic #computerlinguistic #musiccreation
