✈️Asia's largest narrowbody engine MRO provider at Zhuhai Airshow✈️ Zhuhai Airshow has been bringing together industry leaders and showcasing the latest in aviation technology all week. At our booth, we presented some interesting exhibits, including the core module of a V2500–a stage 3-8 drum of high-pressure compressor (HPC). We are the first and currently the only MRO shop in China with V2500 HPC stage 3-8 drum SDR repair capabilities. Highlights from the show so far include MTU Maintenance Zhuhai signed a V2500 engine MRO agreement with Beijing Capital Airlines, West Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, as well as a strategic cooperation agreement with China Southern Leasing and a framework agreement with China Aviation Supplies. As China’s market leader for engine MRO services, MTU Maintenance Zhuhai can perform up to 450 shop visits a year. #MTUMaintenance #ZhuhaiAirshow

Taking learning to new heights! 🚀✈️ Last month, six of our third-year aircraft mechanic apprentices had the opportunity to spend an exchange week at BRP-Rotax in Austria. During the program, two Rotax 912 engines were disassembled, reconditioned and reassembled. This provided a good opportunity to review the learning content of the first year of training. MTU Aero Engines and BRP-Rotax have been running a trainee exchange program for some time. The Gunskirchen-based company specializes in the development and production of combustion engines. We are proud to be able to offer our apprentices such a wide range of exchange programs, where they broaden their horizons, become more independent and get to know new ways of working. Taking-Off with hands-on experience! 🇳🇱✈️ This summer five apprentices from MTU Maintenance Hannover spent three months in the Netherlands as part of an international internship. Today we’d like to share with you a few impressions of their work at various Dutch airports: Photo 1: At the companies Hangar One Technics & Avionics and AMN (Aircraft Maintenance Netherlands) in Teuge, Hannes and Melvin were involved in the maintenance and repair of various aircraft and helicopters with piston and turbine engines. Photo 2: In Lelystad at AIS Flight Academy & AIS Airlines, Leonie was able to get to know the maintenance work on aircraft with piston engines and propeller engines and assisted with 50h to 200h inspections. Photo 3: Kevin and Fynn had the opportunity to work on private jets at JetSupport in Amsterdam. This experience not only gave them the opportunity to carry out complex maintenance work on aircraft, but also to develop their cultural and language skills. Safety first, quality always. Last week's Quality Day MTU Maintenance Serbia aimed to highlight our commitment to achieving the highest quality standards, ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency. Experts from various fields shared their knowledge and experiences with our employees during panel discussions, which raised awareness and promoted a safety-oriented culture. Quality Day is part of the global MTU initiative "Passion for Quality". The panelists were Rainer Becker, CEO of MTU Maintenance Serbia, Holger Rosemann, COO of MTU Maintenance Serbia, Quality Director Jelena Zelenovic and Human Resources Director Žaklina Teofilović. Special thanks to our guests Zorica Mladenovic, Quality Manager of the Aviation Academy, and Marko Ivanovic, Captain and Technical Pilot for the Airbus 330 at Air Serbia.
