BSH Home Appliances Group, a manufacturer of high-end brands such as Siemens, Bosch, and Neff, produces refrigerators.  Once the manufacturing process is complete, each refrigerator goes through a series of functional tests. One of these end-of-line tests is manual leak testing. The test is conducted using a sniffer probe that is run along the solder points of pipes on the back of each refrigerator to check for leaking coolant.  Since each pipe is manually assembled, crippled, or soldered, the measurement points vary in position, shape, and color.  This process has too many variances and cannot be automated using traditional vision systems. As a result, they approached us to see if MIRAI could provide a potential solution. Together, we were able to train MIRAI-equipped robots on the required skills in a few days without the need for computer vision or AI expertise. Since implementing MIRAI, BSH has reduced ongoing operating costs, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Last Friday, we had the pleasure of attending the annual Blue Future Partners Summit in Berlin. It was inspiring to connect with like-minded people in our ecosystem, discuss current projects, and explore Berlin's strengths and weaknesses as a startup hub. As the ecosystem continues to evolve, the theme "Beyond Fintech & Ecommerce: The Startups & VCs Shaping Berlin's Next Growth Wave" was both timely and insightful.  It was a fantastic opportunity for our Founder and Chief Product Officer, Ronnie Vuine, to introduce others to MIRAI — a solution designed to unlock modern manufacturing automation.
