𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿; 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. The MAN Alpha High Thrust (AHT) propeller nozzle offers significant advantages over the earlier 19A design, particularly for vessels requiring high pulling power and efficiency. Benefits include: 1. 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿. The AHT nozzle design enhances propeller thrust, especially at lower ship speeds, resulting in more pulling power. As an example, this allows for larger fishing gear on trawling vessels, meaning a bigger catch without increasing propulsion power and fuel consumption. 2. 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. A specific bollard pull or towing force can be delivered at a reduced power output and engine rating. 3. 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹. An upgrade from 19A to our advanced AHT design, combined with state-of-the-art MAN Alpha CP propeller blades, can increase the bollard pull by more than 20%.
