We are excited to announce that the Intersnack Group has acquired Whole Earth Foods from Ecotone. Whole Earth is focused on nut butters and has experienced substantial sales growth in the last 20 years to become the No.1 peanut butter brand in the UK as well as building a good position for branded peanut butter in other European countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Italy. It is an excellent addition to the Intersnack business and a great fit with our extensive experience in the sourcing of nuts and production of nut products. Whole Earth also complements our European portfolio of much-loved brands and perfectly aligns with our sustainable business practices. We welcome the Whole Earth team to Intersnack and look forward to supporting the Whole Earth brand to continue its growth for the future.

We are proud to report that Intersnack has achieved an EcoVadis Gold rating for the second year running! Achieving gold again is a particularly strong performance given that EcoVadis raised the bar for 2024, requiring more points to achieve the gold ranking than last year. Despite this, Intersnack achieved an improved score which ranks us amongst the top 5% of all companies across all industries rated by EcoVadis internationally and in the top 2% for the food industry. Our scores were particularly strong in the areas of Sustainable Procurement and for Labour & Human Rights, which has a lot of importance for the food industry and particular weight in the EcoVadis methodology. We are now in the top 1% of all food companies for Sustainable Procurement! This Gold EcoVadis rating endorses the measurable steps Intersnack is taking to implement sustainable practice throughout our supply chain and all that we do. And for us, that means building more trust with our partners and consumers, snack by snack. A big shout out to all our colleagues everywhere in Intersnack whose efforts are helping to make Intersnack’s sustainability vision a reality! Did you know that today is the first International Day of the Potato? Designated by the United Nations FAO in recognition of the tremendous importance of the potato as a food for the world. Here at Intersnack, we are proud to highlight the potato as a key ingredient in many of our delicious snacks and in particular to focus on our collaborations with farmers to find better ways of growing crops that are good for the farmer and for the planet. Intersnack has worked to build short, local-for-local supply chains for potatoes that enable trusted, longstanding partnerships and strong farm-factory links. To reduce end-to-end environmental impacts, we’re working to ensure our potatoes are grown and sourced as locally as possible, often buying directly from farmers and farmer co-ops to close the distance between farm and factory. We engage expert local partners to understand the challenges our farmers face, working in collaboration to find solutions, regionally and on a field-by-field basis. The strong and direct relationships we have with our potato farmers are helping us to develop new approaches and resilient, responsive and responsible supply chains for this key ingredient. Globally, we are members of the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI). The SAI Platform is helping to drive a common approach to sustainability across businesses and supply chains, accelerating its implementation and progress. Sustainable Agriculture forms an important aspect of the targets we have set to reduce our carbon footprint and our commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as part of the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C. #PotatoDay #sustainableagriculture #sciencebasedtargets
