ENVIRIA receives +200 million USD equity investment from BlackRock.    We are excited to announce BlackRock as our new investor.    ENVIRIA set out to leverage one of the fastest growing areas in the energy transition: offering decentralized energy via rooftop solar and adjacent services at scale. And there is still a lot to do.   Our customized solutions challenge traditional 'gray' power plants and gradually reduce dependence on fossil fuels. It is estimated that German companies consume around 70% of the total national electricity usage, while only around 10% of suitable company roofs are equipped with a solar system. This leaves a potential of several hundred GW of renewable energy capacity untapped. With this strong partner we will continue our growth, following our vision of empowering companies to harness the potential of solar. This project marks a significant milestone in advancing the use of sustainable energy solutions across business parks in Germany. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 🔋703 kWp of installed capacity 🔆 1,615 modules across 3,227.93 m² of rooftop area 📈 Annual Electricity Production: 702,740 kWh 🌍 CO2 Savings: 485 tons of CO2 eq. avoided annually 📍 Location: Glinde, Germany 𝐀𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭: 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠💡 BEOS AG, a leading asset manager and project developer, decided for an innovative solar concept with roof leasing. Instead of purchasing their own PV system with a significant upfront investment, BEOS AG leases the roof space to ENVIRIA which installs and operates the solar system. While tenants benefit from green and affordable electricity, the property benefits from enhanced ESG performance and a reduced carbon footprint. In addition, BEOS AG receives rental income from ENVIRIA for the roof lease. The new construction of the ‘Glinnkamp’ business park was completed this year and certified with DGNB Gold. The project underpins BEOS' commitment to become Germany’s market leader in sustainable corporate real estate. 𝐀 𝐏𝐕 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐨𝐟 2.5 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬 ⚽ On an 18,000 m² rooftop atop a logistics property in Viernheim, AVENTOS GROUP and ENVIRIA have created a cutting-edge photovoltaic system. This large-scale installation produces enough electricity annually to power 350 average German households. Even better: 50% of the solar energy is used directly by the on-site tenant, with the rest feeding into the grid. It’s a shining example of how the usage of commercial rooftops can drive the energy transition while aligning sustainability with business success.
