📞What you need to know about 2-senses emergency communication: 👁️ What does 2-senses mean? 👂 It means establishing an option to use a second sense (vision) when making emergency calls, beside the traditional way of communicating via hearing and speaking. ♿ Why is this important? 🌐 People with hearing impairments and/or language barriers are not able to use today's standard emergency call solutions which only rely on hearing and speaking. Implementing 2-senses emergency communication is an important step to make emergency calls barrier-free. 🔊 How does it work? 👆 When the emergency call is activated the authorized personnel can establish both visual/chat-based and verbal communication. The person in distress can use either way to communicate with the emergency call centre: by speaking or answering via messaging on a touch screen. This API provides functions for automated testing and continuous integration of plug-ins. 💻 With the new capabilities of the flexyPage® display API, plug-ins can be managed, activated, deactivated, installed, and uninstalled. 📸 Additionally, screenshots can be requested to visually monitor the current display on the screen and, therefore, the effect of a plug-in. 🔒 The plug-in implementation, and thus the flexyPage® display, is protected by an API key authentication mechanism.
