The AI Act, which came into force on 1 August 2024, marks a milestone for the responsible use of artificial intelligence (#AI) in the #EU. While the majority of the provisions will only apply from 2 August 2026, the provisions on AI literacy pursuant to Art. 4 AI Act will apply from 2 February 2025. In addition, this provision is one of the very few provisions of the AI Act that applies to all AI systems within the scope of the #AIAct. In view of this, companies are now faced with the challenge of ensuring a sufficient level of AI literacy within a short space of time. Promoting AI literacy is also of strategic importance for companies.
