    Head of CloudFest Hackathon

I'm thrilled to share the recap of this year's CloudFest Hackathon, held at the enchanting Europa-Park in Rust, Germany. This year, we pushed the boundaries of innovation and collaboration, culminating in a hackathon that was nothing short of transformative. By the Numbers: 🤝 12 partners & 3 media partners who helped make everything possible 💡 11 awesome projects that showcased incredible diversity and creativity 🌍 124 attendees from 26 different countries 💻 +2500 human-hours of coding collaboration & creation 🏆 6 awards across 4 winning teams 🎗️€4,500 raised for the Groundbreaker gGmbH Talents initiative The hackathon was a vibrant tapestry of technology and human spirit, with participants working tirelessly to develop open-source solutions that promise to enhance the open web. We celebrated incredible milestones in diversity and inclusion, with a strong representation of women and non-binary individuals (33%) and exceptional projects led by them. 🌟 Hack for Good: A special shout-out to Vanessa Nalugya from Uganda, a Groundbreaker Talents scholarship recipient, who not only actively participated but also shone brightly on stage, showcasing the tangible impacts of the project she supported. 📢 What's Next?: For those eager for more CloudFest vibes, don't miss out on CloudFest USA happening from June 5-8 in Austin, Texas.
