Last week we hosted another aneurysm workshop for advanced physicians in München. The circuit training is intended to give the participants the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in the treatment of aneurysms. The workshop is based on the products ACCLINO® flex plus Stent, ACCERO® Stent, and DERIVO® 2 Embolisation Device. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the speakers, all participants, and München Klinik GmbH!

🇱🇻 Exciting Workshop with Acandis GmbH at Paula Stradiņa Klīniskā universitātes slimnīca. At the end of November, we had the privilege of participating in a fantastic workshop organized by Acandis GmbH. Hosted by Professor Karlis Kupcs and his highly skilled team at Riga Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital, we were warmly welcomed alongside doctors from Romania 🇷🇴, Poland 🇵🇱, Moldova 🇲🇩 and Croatia 🇭🇷. Over the course of two engaging days, we explored a variety of fascinating cases, gaining valuable insights and expertise. It was an honor to collaborate with Dr. Meelis Jakobson, a leading expert in interventional procedures from SA Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikum. Together, we witnessed the virtuosic use of the Derivo flow diverter and the remarkable skill demonstrated by Prof. Kupcs with the Aperio stent retriever. We would also like to express our gratitude to Nataliia Morhun, Eduards Zuravlovs, and Andrius Simonaitis, whose efforts were instrumental in organizing and ensuring the success of this workshop. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Karlis Kupcs and his team for their exceptional hospitality, as well as to Acandis GmbH and Formedics for making this educational experience possible. #Neurosurgery #InterventionalRadiology #MedicalWorkshop #Collaboration #Innovation

Teamwork, Inspiration, and Success – An Unforgettable Talk with Dominik Neidhart Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dominik Neidhart, a member of the legendary Swiss sailing team that made sports history with its historic and unexpected victory at the America’s Cup, to our employee event. In his dynamic keynote, he took us onboard and let us experience the challenges and triumphs of the team firsthand. Through captivating stories, stunning visuals, and personal anecdotes, he demonstrated how teamwork and determination can lead to extraordinary success – both on water and on land. Dominik Neidhart’s talk was not only inspiring but also a valuable reminder for our daily work: Together, we can achieve anything! A heartfelt thank you to Dominik Neidhart for this unforgettable insight into the world of high-performance sports and for the meaningful parallels to our own challenges.

We had two successful workshops in Hamburg and Düsseldorf this week. In cooperation with experienced physicians, we organise several workshops a year since we are convinced that targeted training is an important pillar for achieving the best possible results in the use of our devices. Our workshops offer the chance to gain both theoretical and practical skills and there are three different Acandis workshops about flow diversion treatment, mechanical thrombectomy, and therapy of intracranial stenoses. The workshops are divided into a theoretical part with product introduction, deeper knowledge about the treatment, case examples and discussions. The hands-on training in the angiography offers the opportunity to practice complete interventions under realistic conditions in patient-specific silicon models. A big thank you to all participants for their dedication and active participation!
