The Homemade Cookies Swap was a heartwarming occasion where our associates connected over warm drinks, celebrated diversity, and sparked conversations about holiday traditions from around the world. Our associates shared homemade Christmas cookies and treats from their home countries, creating a festive atmosphere full of cultural exchange. Today, we would like to introduce Andrea Austenová, Head of P&O Services Excellence. Andrea joined Sandoz last year, and in her role, she manages P&O Operations strategies, implements a future-proof service architecture, and establishes an efficient process landscape. She also oversees knowledge management, as well as billing and invoicing with P&O Operations vendors. “I’m always looking for ways to push the organization forward, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth. I believe that progress comes from constantly refining our processes, learning from each other, and adapting to new challenges. 🚀 Successful Pilot Launch of Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training In November, we officially launched the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training in Prague! The initial group included seven participants from Finance, Procurement, and Technology. The team completed this engaging two-day workshop, which was held on-site in our Pankrác offices. Radka Vraspirova, Senior P2P Manager and Lean Six Sigma mentor, summarizes the experience: "The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training presents concepts and methodologies that are crucial for our work and can help improve our daily processes by transforming flaws into value. During the transformation, we aim to make our processes leaner and adopt a lean mindset, which is also the purpose of this training. The group was fantastic – the participants were motivated, asked insightful questions, and had the chance to connect with colleagues outside of their own function, which was an additional benefit." Lean Six Sigma is a powerful process improvement methodology that delivers numerous benefits. It equips our teams with the skills needed to drive process improvements, optimize efficiency, and build a culture of continuous improvement. Originally from Nigeria, Mark-Anthony came to Prague to pursue IT studies but seized the opportunity to join Sandoz as a trainee in Legal Operations. Through hard work, dedication, and the opportunities available at Sandoz, he has grown into a Junior Specialist role. “I started last year as a trainee in the Sandoz Legal team, which was completely different from the field I was used to. Mystical Fall Fiesta at our office! 🍂 Last week, we came together to embrace and celebrate some of our favorite festivities, from Halloween and Dia de los Muertos to Diwali and Dušičky. We spent a wonderful afternoon embracing the season's spirit at our Mystical Fall Fiesta! 👻 We indulged in delicious refreshments, enjoyed festive music, shared laughter and joy, and made the gathering truly magical. As part of the annual ABSL (Association of Business Services) conference in Prague, 10 categories have been awarded out of 67 nominations. It was the first nomination for this award for Sandoz!
