On October 2nd, the EU delayed its Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) by a year, adding complexity to its Green Deal goals. In her article “The European Deforestation Regulation and EU’s Normative Power: Shaping Global Trade for Sustainability”, Ana Sánchez Antelo delves into how this regulation could reshape trade, especially for producer countries in the Global South, and the challenges of fair implementation. 🔗 Read Ana’s full article on European Waves: https://lnkd.in/e7fTmCBS #EuropeanWaves #EuropeanGreenDeal #DeforestationRegulation #SustainableTrade #ClimateAction
