Business Attorney, New Pig Corporation
We’re currently looking for a reliable, full-time business attorney for our Private, Multi-Entity, Family-Owned Business.
New Pig Corporation revolutionized industrial leak and spill management forever with its Pig Original Absorbent Sock in 1985.

Responsibilities
Provide support and advice to the leadership of the company and executive officers regarding numerous legal rights, responsibilities, and obligations
Coordinate with executive management to understand corporate objectives and provide an advisory role
Engage external counsel as needed, and coordinate efforts, including corporate law, contract law, intellectual property, real estate law, and employment law
Review legal agreements provided by internal customers.
Make recommendations for successful execution.
Create tasks for responsible individuals and follow-up for completion.
Assist executive management with execution of documents for mergers and acquisitions
Develop and execute a plan to audit contract compliance and perform housekeeping to ensure all corporate documents are in good order
Utilize technology and contract management software to receive, document and execute contracts
Organize and file basic legal documents and correspondence
Qualifications
Juris doctorate, successful passing of the bar exam
Active license from the State Bar Association
Experience in business law
Willingness to work onsite at New Pig headquarters in Tipton, PA
Strong sense of initiative and internal motivation
Must be a critical thinker, able to make timely and tough business decisions.
Capacity to operate in a complex, global environment with ease and fluidity while driving and influencing results
Strong research skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop detailed reports and correspondence.

Ability to work under pressure and time constraints to meet deadlines
Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems and process tools
