Position Title Sr.
Director of Enrollment Management PIN 270000 Classification Summary The Senior Director of Enrollment Management serves as Jefferson College’s Chief Enrollment and Retention Officer, providing strategic leadership, oversight, and vision for the Enrollment Management team.
The incumbent oversees the development, implementation, and assessment of campus-wide recruitment, enrollment, persistence, retention, and completion goals and strategies, and ensures the coordination of exceptional services throughout the student life cycle.
The incumbent works collaboratively with leadership in Student Services and across campus to ensure strategic goals are met.
The Senior Director of Enrollment Management provides leadership in creating a positive atmosphere of coordination and cooperation among departments to facilitate a positive, welcoming, and inclusive experience for students.
Minimum Education and/or Training and Experience Master’s degree in related field, and eight years of progressive experience in related area, including at least three years in a supervisory role.

Classification Duties Serves as Jefferson College’s Chief Enrollment and Retention Officer, overseeing all strategic and operational aspects of the Enrollment Management team.
Provides leadership, direction, and guidance to the directors of the following departments and their staff: Admissions, Advising and Retention, Financial Aid, and Registrar/Student Records.
Provides institutional leadership in developing, implementing, and assessing the effectiveness of recruitment, admissions, advising, enrollment, persistence, retention, financial aid, veterans’ services, completion, and transfer strategies and initiatives to assure comprehensive, quality services to students.
Responsible for the planning, budgeting, and ongoing assessment of the Enrollment Management team, including developing and implementing annual goals and objectives; evaluating policies and strategies; and continuously assessing and improving programming and operations to achieve strategic goals.
Implements Strategic Workforce Planning initiatives for the team, including mentoring, training, and performance management.
Supervises staff, including prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained and following policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.
Leads ongoing review and assessment of the student onboarding process, making recommendations for continuous improvement to ensure timely, effective services to students.
Oversees the development and implementation of strategic communication to students throughout all phases of the student life cycle.
Chairs the Strategic Enrollment Management and Retention Committee, providing leadership to assess and implement strategies to facilitate campus-wide recruitment, enrollment, persistence, retention, and completion of students.
Leads strategic and integrated planning efforts for the Enrollment Management team.
Provides leadership, guidance, and coordination of the Student Services Integrated Plan (and related plans) to include assessments, KPIs, and ongoing initiatives.
Monitors, understands, and implements trends, best practices, and data-driven approaches to strategic recruitment and retention efforts in higher education, making recommendations to the College’s leadership.
Collects, analyzes, and uses enrollment data to establish and meet immediate and long-range goals; works collaboratively with partners across campus to prioritize and implement recruitment and retention strategies that result in quantifiable and measurable outcomes.
