Our EH216-S equipped with this battery has successfully completed a continuous flight test for 48 minutes and 10 seconds, improving endurance by 60-90% in various flight scenarios! Today, at the opening ceremony of the Hefei UAM Hub, EHang showed the unedited full flight video of the EH216-S, which was officially notarised in real time by the Guangzhou Notary Office, underlining the credibility of the test. This high-energy solid-state battery, with an impressive energy density of 480 Wh/kg, has been rigorously tested for safety and stability. As the world's first eVTOL flight test using solid-state battery technology, this milestone opens up new opportunities for the EH216-S in a wider range of applications. Speaking at the event,Lin Chen, Chairman of Inx Energy, who is also involved in this research and development, highlighted the breakthrough's role in setting new safety and energy density standards for the eVTOL industry, paving the way for a sustainable future of urban air mobility.
