After travelling thousands of kilometers, large flocks of Siberian cranes have arrived at a wetland near Poyang Lake for overwintering in Shangrao, Jiangxi Province. As the largest freshwater lake in China and the largest habitat for migratory birds in Asia, Poyang Lake attracts more than 600,000 migratory birds each winter. A giant "Monkey King" snow sculpture will soon meet the public at the 37th Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. Inspired by the iconic image of the Monkey King, artists began the process of creating this 20-meter-high snow sculpture on December 3.

China's auto production rose 11.1 percent year on year to 3.44 million units in November, while sales climbed 11.7 percent from a year earlier to 3.32 million units, industrial data showed Wednesday. The data also revealed that the country's new energy vehicle (#NEV) sector had managed to sustain its sound growth momentum last month.
