The Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”), Thailand’s comprehensive data protection law, regulates the collection, usage, provision, and other processing of personal data by private and certain governmental entities. The law was published in the Thai Government Gazette in May 2019 and became enforceable as of June 1, 2022.
