Conditions requises et recommandations
Avant de configurer interconnexion dédiée, votre réseau doit être relié physiquement au réseau de Google via une installation hébergée en colocation compatible (également appelée "emplacement de connexion"). C'est via cette installation qu'un opérateur (le fournisseur d'installations hébergées en colocation) met en place une liaison entre votre réseau et un point de présence périphérique de Google.

Choisir un emplacement pour interconnexion dédiée
Dans le tableau des emplacements, chaque zone géographique répertorie les régions dans lesquelles vous pouvez créer des rattachements de VLAN.
La région que vous choisissez affecte les coûts liés à la latence et au transfert de données sortantes pour l'interconnexion dédiée. Par exemple, si vous disposez de VM dans la région us-east4
, vous pouvez sélectionner un emplacement dans Ashburn, créer votre connexion d'interconnexion dédiée dans Ashburn, puis créer un rattachement de VLAN dans us-east4
. De cette manière, la distance parcourue par les données en transit entre vos VM et la connexion d'interconnexion dédiée diminue. Par rapport à la création d'une connexion d'interconnexion dédiée et d'un rattachement de VLAN en Europe, par exemple, le temps de latence est nettement réduit.
En outre, il est bien plus rentable de créer des rattachements de VLAN dans les mêmes régions que vos VM, car les coûts de sortie inter-régions pour le trafic envoyé par les VM sur votre réseau sur site ne vous sont pas facturés.
Emplacements à faible latence
En général, vous obtenez la latence la plus faible dans une région en vous connectant à des emplacements situés géographiquement dans la zone métropolitaine la plus proche de cette région.
Si votre charge de travail Google Cloud nécessite une faible latence, choisissez un emplacement dans le tableau qui liste une région dans la colonne Région à faible latence. Créez ensuite vos rattachements de VLAN dans cette région.
