Today is the day! I’m thrilled to be in #Kigali for the official launch of the Country Development Effectiveness Review (CDER)—a comprehensive report showcasing the extraordinary development journey of Rwanda from 2012 to 2022 and the African Development Bank Group's pivotal role in this remarkable progress. 📚✨ One year ago, I had the privilege of embarking on an unforgettable journey through #Rwanda, traveling over 1,200 kilometers across the country—from east to west and north. 🌍 That inaugural field visit allowed me to witness firsthand the tangible impact of the Bank's partnership with Rwanda, particularly on its rural communities and most vulnerable households. It was deeply humbling to see the results up close, engage with beneficiaries, and hear their powerful stories of transformation. 💬✨ Inspired by the insights from that mission, this report highlights not only the lessons learned but also the strategic insights to shape the future of our work. 🔎💡 It reflects on a partnership that has stood the test of time, grounded in trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to sustainable development. 🤝💚 As we celebrate 🎉 60 years of partnership between Rwanda and the African Development Bank, this launch is a moment to honor our shared achievements and set our sights on creating an even greater impact. Stay tuned as we reflect on this remarkable journey and look ahead to the future! 📖✨ #AfDB #RwandaDevelopment #SustainableDevelopment #DevelopmentImpact #ResultsMatter #InclusiveGrowth #PartnershipsThatMatter #TransformationJourney #EconomicGrowth #RuralDevelopment #EmpoweringCommunities #AfricanDevelopment #60YearsOfPartnership #DrivingProgress #InnovativeSolutions #ImpactfulStories #AfDBat60
