Holy Rising is a track from Chris and George’s album Island Vibrations that came out on vinyl and digital last summer.

Here are two radically different interpretations of that song.

The first comes from multi-instrumentalist artist in his own right; the guitarist in JIM; and the Smith in Smith & Mudd. He takes the original to new musical and spiritual levels that are so enhanced that we decided to give the tune a new name - Holy Sun.
The second version is an ambient interpretation by Chris Coco that co-producer George Solar identified as having something special early on in the album mixing process. Here, at last, is that versions chance to shine… quietly and gently, naturally. Well it is called Holy Ambient, so what do you expect?
