As an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect, Software Architect, and Lead Developer, I led the design and delivery of a sophisticated IoT solution for Electric Vehicle Smart Chargers. This multi-faceted project was constructed using a blend of .NET, Azure, and C++ technologies, encapsulating a breadth of functionalities:

Firmware Development:
• Developed OCPP-certified firmware using C++, RTOS, and Arduino on the ESP32 platform.
• Implemented Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates ensuring seamless upgrade processes.
• Engineered a dynamic and adaptive load balancing system for energy efficiency.
• Fortified security through mutual certificate authentication and robust data encryption.
• Integrated connectivity features including WIFI, Bluetooth, and NFC, alongside ISO 15118 compliance.
• Enabled user-friendly “Tap and Charge” capabilities.

Cloud Solution & App Backend:
• Designed a .NET Microservice architecture hosted on Azure Kubernetes, focused on high availability and scalability, capable of supporting up to one million chargers.
• Employed Azure Service Bus, Azure SignalR, and gRPC for messaging and real-time event handling.
• Ensured the highest standards of security, reliability, and cost optimization.

Mobile Application Development:
• Crafted responsive iOS and Android applications for charger and fleet management using React Native and Expo.
• Integrated Firebase for robust identity management and Azure SignalR for efficient backend communication.
• Implemented geolocation services with Google Maps and seamless charging payment processing with Stripe.

This project not only demonstrates my technical expertise across a wide range of technologies but also my ability to lead a project from conception through to successful deployment and market adoption.

Smart City Management System
The Elba Smart City Management System was built for Arad and Timisoara cities to monitor and control over 50000 public lamps. Communication is done through gateways connected over GPRS to a central server, each gateway managing 300 lamps over ZigBee communication. The gateways also monitor the electrical network using electronic meters.
