Being passionate about sports myself (especially running), it is a great pleasure to see the athletes' performances at the Olympic Games and their mindset to get there is also very inspiring for my personal leadership and business approaches. The determination and passion to pursue a specific goal strategically and for the long term, removing barriers while consequently placing a target at the center of all efforts, is much in line with the strategic approaches needed to drive sustainable and customer-centric marketing and sales excellence. McKinsey & Company published an interesting interview with two-time Olympic triathlon champion and Ironman winner Alistair Brownlee on what leaders can learn from Olympic strategies and mindsets. One valuable insight: “If you want to achieve something no one has achieved before, you have to approach the challenge in a way no one has before.” And I would be interested to know what your most valuable "business mantra" is?

Yesterday it was announced that the iMasons Climate Accord Governing Body- Schneider Electric, Meta, Microsoft, Digital Realty, Google and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are joining forces to help #decarbonize digital infrastructure. In an Open Letter to the industry, the governing body is calling for greater transparency of Scope 3 emissions among suppliers serving #datacenters as part of broader efforts to reduce the industry's carbon footprint. As of 2024, 81% of Schneider Electrics product turnover is covered by EPDs, and we continue to push for more.
