My fellowship has granted me the distinct privilege to understand and participate in SAP's #Pride #Month from two viewpoints - as an employee and from the HR side. Last week was particularly remarkable with two highlights; the re-certification of #SAP #Switzerland with the #Swiss-LGBTI label and our company's participation at the #Pride #Parade in #Zurich! As a Solution Advisor, it fills me with pride to know that SAP #SuccessFactors has been offering solutions that support #Diversity & #Inclusion for many years. For instance, SAP SuccessFactors #Employee #Central is not only the 💛 of talent but also serves as an active instrument enabling us and our clients to pioneer the path of diversity and inclusion. Here are a few examples to illustrate this: 🏳️‍🌈SAP SuccessFactors provides a feature that allows employees to specify their #preferred #pronouns, such as "she/her/hers", "he/him/his", or "they/them/theirs". This function, though simple, is influential in honoring every employee's gender identity and encouraging an inclusive work culture. 🏳️‍🌈#Gender #Choice: At SAP, we appreciate that gender identity isn't restricted to the binary system. #HRConnectDresden it was a blast!   HR Connect in Dresden, a conference powered by SAP, has come to an end. I am now heading home, filled with ideas and inspiration about SAP SuccessFactors and HR Digitalization.   As I've had multiple opportunities to explore the market and engage in networking recently, I am excited to share some key insights:   💡Many good solutions and innovative ideas are out there, not to mention the even more remarkable individuals. Venturing out and engaging in dialogue is immensely valuable. We often encounter common challenges and queries, while others may have already discovered effective solutions. Vice versa, it offers the chance to share your own advancements. We don’t always have to "reinvent the wheel“, as we say in German. 🔋Despite a packed schedule, occasionally disconnecting from daily tasks proves to be incredibly rewarding. I come back recharged, with a fresh mind and amplified drive to reach my objectives. 🚀Digitalization and AI are here to stay, but so are our jobs. They will just evolve, much like we transitioned from the Nokia 3310 to the iPhone 15, remember that? 💫I'm truly grateful to work with an employer and leaders who support growth and learning opportunities like this one. One of the most thought-provoking moments was stepping into the SAP Business Women Network #BWN booth and diving into a #VR experience developed by Advance – Gender Equality in Business in collaboration with wondder, "Men in Business: In the Body of a Woman." 👓 Ever wondered what it’s like to see the world through a different lens? This #VR simulation gave me a glimpse into that reality. Seeing myself in the mirror as a woman was a profound moment, challenging my own unconscious biases and opening my eyes to new perspectives. 🪞✨ Created by our #DEI partner, Advance, this experience was not just eye-opening but crucial in understanding the barriers others face in the workplace. Experiencing life from a different perspective is powerful, highlighting the importance of #empathy and understanding in promoting #GenderEquality. It's a fantastic tool for breaking down #biases and fostering inclusivity. 🌍💡 I urge everyone to give it a try.
