i think i wish for christmas a plugin that works with either my metamask wallet and or a private key where i will top up my funds via FIAT to Wallet as we go for the investment. 1. search for opportunity 2. top up wallet EUR to EURe or if denominated USDC then quick swap on chain EURe to USDC 3. interact with smart contract (e.g that your wallet is already verified to deal with on chain products verified by a trusted on chain party which is trusted by the issuer as well) 4. get back dividends/interest into wallet and auto route it to FIAT if i want also easier to track portfolio vs 10 broker UIs....

VCs & Investors sell tokens to the demand of retail users early in a company’s life cycle. This doesn’t happen in traditional markets until IPOs or rarely in secondaries during funding rounds.     2. Having a free market, 24-7-365 economy where you can trade tokens even if you don’t interact with the game/application the token is attached to.     3. Token sinks in the game/application need to be matched by incentivising speculators and investors not to sell out of the game/application.     4. When you launch a token, if it’s attached to a game/application, it becomes your product. Everything you do in your roadmap is then dedicated to ensuring the token goes up or at worst sideways. ➡️ Everyone is (rightfully) focused on improving the UI/UX in crypto to abstract the technology from the consumer - but what if the economics need improving in parallel? Crypto folk have taken what has worked for technical networks that require decentralised governance to upgrade and secure a network and pasted them onto utility assets in entertainment industries (Gaming, Sports, Entertainment, Music). It's apples and oranges. Somebody needs to come up with a better mechanic or tokenomic standard that suits the needs of consumer-facing crypto propositions.

How to Create a Tokenized Asset Registry in a Special Economic Zone Full post: https://lnkd.in/eqj5gMG5 TL;DR in 🧵 I just tried to buy a motorcycle in El Salvador and found out the process would take multiple weeks. What if people could just send an NFT in under a minute? This is so slow now because multiple databases across multiple agencies need to reconcile with one another. This involves a lawyer notarizing a document, sending it to a bureaucrat, and then multiple bureaucrats across agencies attempting to reconcile the data. If we had a tokenized asset registry then we could hold NFTs as a digital representation of ownership in their wallet. Which wallets own which assets would be visible publicly online on the blockchain? To change ownership, someone could just accept payment and send an NFT. Then there would be a single, verifiable, historically detailed, immutable, transparent, trusted, simpler source of truth. This would mean a world where you could buy even houses within minutes without paying lawyers such a huge cut. The blockchain shows what wallets own which asset a private government registrar could show which individuals own which wallets. This idea is achievable by partnering with a special economic zone that has the autonomy to enact this such as @ProsperaGlobal or OurWorld in Zanzibar

There's a lot of discussion on X/Twitter about the current low-float, high FDV phenomenon among crypto projects, which is causing subpar returns for liquid buyers. In summary, the current VC model in crypto is broken, and it needs fixing. Building a transparent and active secondary market for insiders holding locked positions (investors and teams alike) is almost an immediate fix to the issue. Natural price discovery is built only through smooth trading rails, both in private and public markers. Founders blocking secondaries signals two insecurities to the market: (i) that they're not confident in current valuations, and (ii) they are over-protective of their TGE/Spot price. From the same people that brought us the "Pelosi Tracker" and the "Inverse Kramer Fund" the good people at Autopilot have some new products. I don't really play in the trad-fi space anymore, too boring. But a lot of other people just getting into investing do! So now they have auto-invest options like the ones previously mentioned along with the "Finance Chad Index" which will put you in things like Cava, Chipotle, and others. The "Basic Becky Index" will put the ladies in things like LuLuLemon, Pinterest, etc. As humanity trudges along in our super tech dystopia it seems, one thing people want to do less of these days is actual thinking. Now they don't have to. Pick a fund that speaks to you and invest in it 🤷‍♂️ I think the names of these funds are hilarious "LITquidity Alpha" 🤣 Reminds me of earlier this year where I was making memes of fictional crypto indexes we might see in the future 😋 I'm Dominic and there's an 80% chance you're getting shafted on your business tech or have horrible support after the fact. Day 894 The selling pressure for #Bitcoin from German government is now over. About 50,000 BTC was offloaded in this process. This impacted the prices negatively. There’s still a few more scares remaining especially the Mt. Gox reimbursement plan. However, unlike the bulk selling by German government, the Mt. Gox distribution will be in Bitcoin, so there won’t be any bulk selling by a single entity. Be cautious, these are uncertain times ✌️ #BuildWeb3

There's a debate raging in crypto regarding 'low float, high FDV' tokens. They have underperformed badly, with retail feeling burned by them. New web3 projects are launching their tokens at low float and high FDV (fully diluted valuation). VCs are capturing most of the returns, while token prices crash as retail starts buying them. Retail gets burned, effectively making these tokens uninvestable for them. Why is this happening? Two of the most popular takes are: 1. Tokens have a low float for effective price discovery 2. VCs are dumping tokens on retail for exit Let's break them down one by one. 1) If your project has like 1-2% token float at TGE (Token Generation Event), then it's pretty low. And will likely cause wild price swings and not be enough for effective price discovery. But the average float for the recent projects at TGE is in the low double digits. This is in line with the successful projects launched (Solana, Uniswap, Arbitrum), which also had a low double-digit float. Even for tech companies, it's often 10 - 20% of shares sold at the IPO. So to me, the low token float is not the main culprit here. 2) Crypto hedge funds, family offices and other institutional investors don't usually buy and hold lots of tokens. So retail is still the main avenue of exit for VCs and drives most of the trading volume outside of BTC/ETH. However, claiming that all VCs dump tokens on retail is also not true. Most VCs have token unlock periods, with 1 year cliff. As most TGEs happen within a year from the first private sale, VCs can't be blamed here. Now, there are cases when VCs get <1 year unlocks and dump tokens on retail. But these are not the Tier 1 VCs and most of such projects aren't listed on Tier 1 exchanges. So what's the MAIN reason then? • Sky-high fully diluted valuations • Lack of regulatory clarity • Geopolitical events First, we need to adjust the valuations of the projects and make them more grounded in reality. The win-win scenario is that both VCs and retail realize decent (not necessarily equal though) returns. Second, we need more regulatory clarity and new rules around this. We used to favor ICOs as they offered the retail early access & lots of upside. But most ICOs were full of scams and are illegal these days. So, in an environment where we can't have Ethereum-style ICOs, most projects go to private investors first. Third, geopolitics affects crypto markets. Conflicts/wars in general and recent Israel/US-Iran escalation in particular stoked fears of a large-scale global war. Which negatively affected crypto market sentiments. -- I believe the free market forces will partially fix the valuations, but it will take time and lots of burned retail investors. Meanwhile, if you are retail, invest early in private rounds if you can. And DON'T buy that new shiny token after TGE. All this intelligence for $3 per million token. That’s 5x cheaper than its closest closed source alternatives (gpt-4o and sonnet-3.5). I’ve spent zero effort optimizing for costs so far. Just build assuming intelligence will be free and the market will make it happen. Even without agi, having this much intelligence at basically zero cost will be ridiculously transformational to the world.
