Among the highlights was the NFT Hunt supported by the NFT Management by SAP team, which spearheaded an exhilarating NFT Hunt that kept visitors engaged throughout the entire journey at the booth. The NFT Hunt offered participants the chance to track down 9 unique NFTs, each unlocking rewards along the way. The more NFTs collected, the greater the likelihood of winning the raffle with its enticing prizes. This gamified approach not only drew attention but also fostered meaningful interaction with the SAP booth. Integral to the success of the NFT Hunt was the seamless integration of Emarsys, which facilitated the distribution of all NFT-related emails. I'm not sure if we are entering the age of Industry 5.0 or if AI makes the great push for Industry 4.0 real. Siemens and Microsoft are working together bringing AI capabilities onto the shopfloor to enable digitalization @ scale, which from my point of view is the missing link to truly establish Industry 4.0. ❓❓ What can I believe ❓❓ The rise of (generative) #AI has opened tons of opportunities for us to ✅ augment our intelligence, ✅ get decision support, ✅ get help in discovering new insights and ✅ better interact with employees and consumers. However, unfortunately is has also opened a lot of opportunities for ❌ mis-use of the technology (which has happened to almost every technology before). #Desinformation is only one very severe possibility where AI can be used by people who deliberately want to deceive us 🤥, manipulate us 😮 and even want to influence elections 😤. Therefore, we are more than happy to join the "Bavarian Alliance against Desinformation" alongside many other tech and industry companies. Thanks to the Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Digitales and the Bayerisches Innenministerium for starting this initiative. "... 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱". 📆 Yesterday, we at Microsoft presented the next wave of Copilot innovations. 🔎 Handelsblatt has taken this opportunity to explore in great depth how and whether these new features will convince some of the "skeptics" who doubt that AI does and will drive actual value. It might sound like a matter of "mere believe" 🤔 – but it's not. As always, there is data. A recent representative survey by Civey shows that (since the beginning of the year) 1️⃣ the use of Microsoft Copilot among knowledge workers in Germany has tripled. 2️⃣ one in ten already uses Copilot regularly (currently mainly in larger companies) 3️⃣ around 40 percent say: I work faster and achieve better results. 💶 And IDC states: “For every dollar a company invests in AI, it achieves an average return of $3.50.” So, the momentum is there 🏄. But one thing is clear: value from AI will only be created with actual usage. Not through theoretical debate. ➡ Therefore, our role at Microsoft Germany is to help organizations and individuals to adopt the technology, build the skills and drive the change in order to derive value. Yesterday, I attended one of my favorite events of the year, which was a great reminder of what I enjoy about my job. As fun as it is to work on practical business applications for new technology every day, it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. The Berliner Briefings was a great moment to zoom out and consider the societal implications of these technologies in a changing geopolitical landscape. Kudos to Christoph Bornschein and Michael Schwarz for curating thought-provoking topics, captivating speakers, and an engaged audience. And a huge thank you to Donata Leyen, Clara Sophie Spee, Sebastian Cleemann, Antje Zehnpfund, and Beate Ando for making it all possible. A broad curiosity for change is what drew me to TLGG 13 years ago, and I am proud to see our logo next to the Baden-Badener Unternehmer Gespräche e.V. (BBUG) on an agenda like this. I don’t have a LinkedIn-ready list of my five insights with fitting emojis for you. I wouldn’t do the discussions justice, and I don’t believe everything can or should be turned into snackable content. I just have a reminder for anyone in a position of influence and/or interest in these topics: Find other people to have these discussions with. People who encourage you and people who challenge you. In formal and informal settings. A lot of the changes happening can be scary, and none of us have all the answers. But conversation by conversation, the picture becomes clearer.
