What better way to mark your midweek than with a power lunch celebrating inspiring women leaders? ✨ Yesterday, TechFace's Managing Director Priska Burkard had the pleasure of catching up over lunch with Dr. Mara Catherine Harvey, winner of the audience-chosen Diversity Ally category at the Hidden Figures Awards 2024. Mara’s win is a testament to the power of meaningful allyship and the impact it has in driving real change. While she couldn’t join us at the #wetechtogether conference in September, this lunch gave us the perfect opportunity to honour her incredible contributions to inclusion and equality in finance. They were joined by Marion Schleifer, co-founder of Code Blossom, a non-profit organisation dedicated to technology education and women’s empowerment in developing countries. As the winner of this year’s Non-Profit Organisation category, Marion’s work exemplifies how tech can be a force for good, transforming lives and creating opportunities for women globally. 🌍 These remarkable women embody the values we celebrate through the Hidden Figure Awards - dedication, innovation, and a commitment to creating a better, more inclusive future.
