The clinic aims to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while simultaneously driving forward groundbreaking research in the field of neuroscience. 🌟 Wrapping up the final #KNOVA sprint of 2024! What an incredible journey this year has been 🚀 DAY 1 – 🤝 We kicked off with a festive evening celebrating innovation from a fresh perspective at EPFL. The evening began with a guided tour of the EPFL Pavilions exhibition “Musica ex Machina”, which beautifully showcases the interplay between technological advancements and human creativity in music. We continued with a demonstration of the Montreux Jazz Festival Heritage Lab thanks to Alain Dufaux, who shared his passion for music and innovation. The celebrations concluded with a traditional Swiss fondue—a perfect moment of connection and reflection! 🧀🎶 DAY 2 – The sprint continued with the KNOVA #TechRoadshow, exploring Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne Ltd.! 🏫 We had the chance to go through a discovery tour of the Swiss Smart Factory, the Swiss Battery Technology Center and the Swiss Advanced Manufacturing Center. L'Etat de Vaud a fait un excellent choix en soutenant le Swiss Data Science Center, qui va s'installer prochainement au Biopôle Lausanne! Ce centre aide les entreprises et institutions suisses (administrations, hôpitaux, ONGs, organisations internationales) dans leur rapport aux données: collecte, analyse, prise de décision, etc. Depuis sa naissance en 2017, l'importance de ce domaine n'a fait que de croître. Si l'on veut développer un gouvernance transparente et permettre à la Suisse de s'approcher de la souveraineté en matière de données, si l'on veut que les PME et entreprises suisses aient accès à un partenaire fiable et aux standards éthiques et scientifiques propres au monde académique, alors je peux le dire avec fierté: avec Isabelle Moret, Frédéric Borloz, Joël Mesot,Silvia Quarteroni et Olivier Verscheure, nous avons fait une avancé majeure aujourd'hui. Merci également au ETH Board qui soutient activement le SDSC, cette initiative de l'EPFL et l'ETH Zürich.
