📣 Major milestone announcement >> The Quantis-supported Fashion Leap for Climate initiative, launched by ABOUT YOU, YOOX NET-A-PORTER and Zalando, is expanding! The fashion industry's shared climate education platform enters a new, exciting chapter in welcoming ASOS.com, Selfridges Group, Boozt and Cascale to the initiative, extending the initiative's invitation to hundreds of brands within its combined portfolio. It's Quantis' long held conviction that cross-industry collaboration is critical to unlocking real sustainability transformation. As such, we're thrilled to see this initiative evolve and grow, with 85% of participants already reporting greater progress towards their target setting and improved knowledge. Designed to support fashion brands to learn how to measure their carbon footprints and set targets in line with climate science, welcoming additional members marks an important next step in the scaling of the program's impact. 🔗 Read the full press release: https://bit.ly/3BtAwXH 🔗 Discover the project scope: https://bit.ly/4gnUouE

Our chemicals crew is still thinking about the engaging discussions at last month's Sustainable Chemicals Conference & Expo. High on the list was nature — and we conducted a small survey with participants to get a sense for how companies are approaching the topic. 📊 Here's what they said: 🌱 While every participant was at least somewhat aware of the nature topic, with 71% of those working in sustainability claiming to know "a lot" about the topic vs. 14% of the non-sustainability participants). But all in all, 29% said they still don't have a plan in place to address it. 🌍 Climate is still the main focus for respondents, with more than 50% claiming to have a plan in place. 💧 Neither plastic nor water appeared to be on the radars of those who participated. What does this tell us? Though the sample size of our informal was small, participation suggests the chemical industry needs to accelerate the integration of nature into sustainability strategies.
