👏 The second phase of the top'rezidence Pomezí project has won the Premium Housing category at the Estate Awards 2024 in the Czech Republic.   The award underscores the resurgence of the housing market and highlights the power of international #collaboration in creating #innovative and sustainable living spaces.  Nestled between the Vidoule and Košíře-Motol nature parks, the development features 60 apartments and 43 family houses. Its design showcases a "street backbone" weaving through individual houses, public spaces, green hedges, and front gardens to create a natural and harmonious living environment and delivers low-energy homes equipped with advanced features such as decentralized ventilation with heat recovery, smart control systems, and provisions for photovoltaics and electric car charging.     🌿 The "Living in Greenery" concept was brought to life through the collaboration of renowned architectural studios: Bogle Architects, Baumschlager Eberle, Pavel Hnilička Architects + Planners, majo architekti, and ABM architekti s.r.o..   Congratulations to the entire KKCG Real Estate Group team and all our partners who contributed to bringing this exceptional project to life!

The completion and handover of Ark I, the first mobile conservation unit developed under the Ark for Ukraine initiative, marks a significant step towards safeguarding Ukraine’s cultural legacy. 🇺🇦 This innovative project, created in collaboration with the Czech Ministry of Culture, the National Library of the Czech Republic, the International Council of Museums (ICOM), and the Karel Komárek Family Foundation, addresses the urgent need to protect rare manuscripts, books, and archival materials that have been damaged or are at risk due to the ongoing conflict. Ark I is equipped to provide on-site conservation and digitization of Ukraine’s written heritage, ensuring these invaluable materials are preserved for future generations. Operated by the Yaroslav Mudryi National Library of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Library Association, the unit is already poised for its critical mission across Ukraine, delivering hope and resilience in challenging times. 🙏 This collaborative effort unites public, private, and non-profit sectors in service of a shared goal: protecting cultural identity and fostering innovation in preservation methods. As we look to the future, we will continue to explore how #innovation and #collaboration can create meaningful solutions for the challenges we face. 

𝄞 This week, our founder Karel Komarek presented barrie kosky with the prestigious Antonín Dvořák Prize 2024 in recognition of his visionary contributions to opera. Renowned for his #innovative approach to Czech opera, Barrie’s work captivates audiences and highlights its significance on a global scale. The ceremony, held in the historic Spanish Hall of Prague Castle in the presence of President Petr Pavel, celebrated the power of music and its role in preserving cultural traditions.

👨💻 At KKCG, we are testing Microsoft Copilot as we embrace the opportunities of the AI-driven workplace. In collaboration with Microsoft, our teams are exploring how AI-powered Agents can simplify data access, automate complex processes, and streamline workflows across platforms like Teams and SharePoint. These tools also enhance communication with real-time voice interpretation and seamless multilingual translation across various platforms. With most knowledge workers already using AI in their daily tasks and over half of business leaders prioritizing AI proficiency in hiring, we believe integrating #AI is now a cornerstone of a modern business strategy. 

This year, the Czech national hockey team celebrated their championship victory on the ice of the O2 Arena in Prague, and last week our team there had the chance to return to this venue for our Pre-Christmas Ice Skating event. ❄️ Nearly 600 participants and their families from KKCG group companies, including Allwyn, SAZKA a.s., and MND, laced up their skates to enjoy the unique atmosphere of this world-class ice rink. Attendees also enjoyed exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of the arena, including a glimpse into the players’ locker rooms. To make the day even more special, young participants even received special medals. A true champion’s experience! Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this event such a joyful occasion. ♡

🎻 This summer, the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester debuted at the prestigious Dvořákova Praha | Dvořák Prague Festival, performing under the baton of Michael Sanderling alongside the Vienna Philharmonic and the Czech Philharmonic. The orchestra captivated a full house at Prague’s Rudolfinum, the same concert hall where Dvořák premiered his iconic Symphony From the New World in 1896.
